It's a prequal to Fist of the North Star, The story takes place in the 30's.

The main character is Kasumi Kenshiro who the 62nd successor of Hokuto Shin Ken....His brother is Kasumi
Ramon(aka Ryuuken in Fist of the North Star)who later
becomes the 63rd successor he later teaches Raoh, Toki
, Jagi, and Kenshiro Hokuto Shin Ken.

Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star is said to be the reincarnation of Kasumi Kenshiro but they are not related to eachother.

Though, other places say that Kasumi is Kenshiro's uncle.
