Yea couldn't have sait it better.
It is one of those 'you need to watch it at least once if you consider yourself otaku' sort of things.

I loved dragonball z, it's probably one of the only animes I will watch dubbed in English.

THis tv show pretty much set the standard for my late youth. It was basically the middleground between Power Rangers earlier and Buffy later.
lusvell - January 7, 2007 05:08 AM (GMT)
How does Buffy fit in there @_@?

I just meant it was one of those things that were so great, and just influenced my life so much, that's all.

I wish you guys understood spanish, surfing YouTube we found the openings for the original DragonBall and DBZ in both Latinamerican spanish and Spain spanish, even a clip in "catalan" spanish, lus and me were laughing our asses at them XD

Used to love the show, now i'm all 'meh'.
All episodes contain a guy screaming for 5 minutes looking like he is going to crap himself and then talk about how they are going to kick a guys ass and not actually do it. Also the only way to tell the difference between characters is by the number of spikes in their hair.

Spain spanish sucks, latin all they way up! lol
Back to the topic: DbZ is indeed one of the best anime out there and one of the most trascendent in manga history, but I have to admit that it became too repetitive in every saga, the only thing that kept me in front of the TV watching it was the new saiyan transformations and a little bit the storyline. To be honest I was sick and tired of DbZ after I finished watching the series.
Darkandroid - January 29, 2007 12:42 AM (GMT)
DBZ has helped bring more people into anime, but it's not the best, there isn't much of a story and it gets very repeative, it's all about i've got more power then the other guy, no wit or brains in it at all.
