Indeed it is, the thing I didn't like though was the fucked up ending to the story >_<

I'm actually only at episode 5 or so right now, but I've heard a lot of people complaining about the ending.

I should go and watch the rest soon.

The last few episodes get really deep and confusing the movie was a better ending.

Yea...its one of those: Everybody has to watch if they like anime, type shows. The end is extremely confusing to understand, though.

Its a great anime, and held my addiction for the entire series and even longer, however the ending just mixes up and convolutes into a morbid whirlpool of death and shit.
Bleh.
But I guess when you see the series as a whole, it is easily, one of the best.

yea....the first 24 episodes rocked hard. But the last two episodes just didnt work out for me, they just went down and dropped like a hot cake :o

The movie is pretty fucking good, even though yea, the ending is a bit depressing.

Maybe I'll watch it after I finish Yu Yu Hakusho and them also maybe Elfen Lied.....

Great Anime, confusing ending.

actually, episode 25 and 26 are related to the movie. what you get to see in both episodes is what Shinji thinks inside the eve when humanity is being absorbed. I guess only Hideaki Anno knows the real meaning of all the confusing chit chat and images.

I have the "Red Cross Book", which is an encyclopedia about the world of evangelion. It was made to make people less confused.......it didn't worked for me, but still it was a good book :P

can you make a few scans? maybe related to the last 2 episodes, to understand Shinji's fucked up mind a bit better?

25 - Do you Love me?
The Angels are all dead, and now Shinji holds in his hand the abilitiy to destroy or save the world. The Third Impact is a reality, and Shinji must take a journey, alone, into the depths of his psyche in order to discover what he really wants and who he is. His fellow pilots, guardians, and friends will all be examined in this endgame, and Shinji may make a decision that may very well depend on what they have to communicate to him in his heart of hearts.

26 - Take Care of Yourself
Shinji now turns his attention to the reality of things, and of mankind in his self-deliberation. Thrown into different perceptions of reality and alternate dimensions, Shinji must come to grips with how he is leading his life and decide whether or not to continue living it. At last, Shinji will pull the world from the edge of the abyss, but whether or not he decides to throw it back into the darkness is a choice that will save or damn his soul forever.


*I must warn you, the red cross book is a looooong read. make sure to drink lots of cofee and that you don't have nothing to do other than piking your nose ^v^

I loved the entire series and the ending. Its really deep stuff that makes you think on several levels. After the series I then got caught up in countless FanFics. This series has so much to offer in origional format or fanfiction twists.

so far I have read only two fanfics. One in which it explains life after the events of the end of evanelion and another in which asuka got pregnant and shinji is the father of this baby. Kinda entertaining.

Just wait until you get a taste of the lemony tastic drinks.


I think some fanfics out there have made very good love stories between the characters, and some have continued the story in perfect action entertainment.

Ya I recommend you search for a story called. Home/Bodies. its my favorite neon genesis evangelion fanfic. I dont think its on fanfiction.net but you can find it on another site.

I can't wait until the four eva films come out...although the films make it seem like they are milking the series.....hopefully it will be in an intellengent way.

I've been waiting for the eva CG remake for years but it seems that the project has been stopped for a while. Damn thats gonna be awesome
