I watch a few random episodes, but it's never really appealed to me. I did find the episode with the Space Invaders ("Quick! Play my Rush mix-tape!") fucking hilarious though.

I own all 4 volumes of Futurama. It's easily my favorite show that WAS on television (followed by Harvey Birdman and Clone High). You can bet I'll get vol.5 on DVD too ;)

Family Guy rips off everything, and isn't too funny once you can get over it's useless/dumb non-sequitars.
Futurama is more like the Simpsons. More mature, where you have to be "sophisticated" to appreciate it, and understand inside jokes/references to pop. cult.

1) Fuck Family Guy! They started about the same time.
2) Made by the same person as the Simpson.

well, i wouldnt exactly say that futurama owns the other 2 shows, the simpsons are a legend, they started it all, family guys is just different, it's like a homer centered story but on steroids, well, more or less like asteroids @)@
now futurama is kinda different, similar to the simpsons, jokes a somewhat similar to family guy in the random sense, i would choose family guy over the other 2 any given day though =P

Nah.....Futurama doesn't own the other two, but it is my favorite out of three, by far. And I always love the watch the simpsons when I can. I could live without family guy if I needed.....
Has anyone noticed how both Lois AND marge have a gambling addiction????or was it just me?

well, the problem is that the simpsons did almost everything already, it's the oldest show and any similarity between any jokes and the simpsons will become a rip off, and not from family guy only, any show, i personally like family guy cause the jokes are funny, even when sometimes they go to the point of retardation D:

South Park is losing it's luster. So is The Simpsons for that matter. Family Guy is doing ok now, but i personally like the elder seasons better.
