I felt bad that no one likes this section of the forums, so I made a thread so we can talk about Xbox and all of its interestingness.

The only thing I care about Xbox is the rumors of a portable gaming device.

The only products that interest me from Microsoft are the X-Box 360 and a few of the newer games coming out for computer.. Microsoft has gotten rather weak since the X-Box, they need more thrilling and exciting products.. One that gives you a great thrill! Like Viagra or LSD XD

Are you kidding? If anything MS is doing better than ever. They had great success with Gears of War, and 2007 is looking like a year with numerous above avarege titles planned for release.

I spose Gears of War is an exception, a few of the other games are quite good as well.. You win this time!

The thing is Microsoft had little going for it with the Xbox360 between the launch and Gears of War.
Viva Pinata seems to be going pretty good as well.

The 360 like the Xbox doesn't have the best game library however I find that it does have some better games to come in the future Halo 3 for example.

I think they have a better up and coming library than the PS3. I mean, what good games are coming out for the PS3 anyway? I dare not venture into the PS3 section in GT so I dont know.

Im not the biggest Sony fan so i may not know much, but i believe Heavenly Sword, DMC4, and MGS4 will release on the PS3. But on a second note, between MS and Sony i am far more impressed with what MS has to offer.

I personally think Sony has overdone it and just put to much unnecessary crap into the PS3 and it has just made it stupidly expensive.

MGS4, DMC 4, Heavenly sword all of those I beleive are PS3 only titles. Assasins Creed was meant to be when it was first announced but now it is for 360 as well.

Ya know...I may be going out on a limb here, but but mopst systems seemd to be focusing so much on 2006...game titles wise, and for a few titles known about here and there, each system has next to nothing to look forward too.

I mean 360 has Halo3 due out.....whenever, and Lost Planet soon. But I can't think of anymore titles that are set in concrete with a '07 release date, or am I blind?

I think Bioshock, and Assasins Creed are planned for an '07 release. But like you said Halo 3 will be Microsofts heavy hitter for the '07 year.

Okay...yes those two also. I'm talking more of the games that aren't on other platforms though.... ;)

Yeah be like when my friend got Halo 2 I stayed at his house a couple nights and we just played it non stop.

Of course, the 360 has good games but their best genre is FPS AFAIK.

Remember, it takes time to make a great game.

And of course, they're working hard on the singleplayer portion of the game which takes a long time. I think this'll have a mix of both Halo and Halo 2.

As in, the superior singleplayer from the original and the superior multiplayer from the second. At least, I hope so.

When i say exclusives i mean consoles only, i never count the PC. But the PS3 version of Bioshock was abandoned, the only console to have it now is the Xbox 360.

Not considering the PC a console is kind of an insult.

And PS3 version got abandoned huh. Damn shame. I'd love to have got it on PS3. Oh well, PC time now then.

When i class things i put them in groups.

Group 1 Consoles- Xbox 360, Wii, and PS3

Group 2 Handhelds- DS, and PSP

Group 3 PC- PC.

See the PC isnt less than the consoles, i just separate them because they differ in terms of gameplay. ;)

I might buy an Xbox 360 just to play Banjo Kazooie 3 when it comes out.

Actually, I agree.

On PC, I'm usually lucky if I finish a game, on consoles I always finish games.

I guess the PC puts you down by making games look generally worse because of dated hardware.
