My favorite movies, in no particular order:

A Scanner Darkly
Fight Club
Collateral
A History of Violence
The Squid & the Whale
Vanilla Sky
SLC Punk!!!
Matchstick Men (dear god, I will never be able to watch this movie a second time; too sad...)

Runner-ups

Anybody who disses my taste in movies gets punched in the face, for real.

Mine would be The Squid and the Whale. Thank you, bit, for recommending it to me.

Bit: Vanilla Sky? WTF!?

Turbo: The original Willy Wonka movie was way better. He had issues, but at least he wasnt a psycho freak with inner child problems like the new one >_<

Fight Club ftw.

Kingdom of Heaven was awsome too.

Direct Impact: DOA?! WTF?!

What was there not to like about Vanilla Sky? I mean, hell it had Tom Cruise, but this was back when he was still a badass. And really, all those pop. culture references? That was an INSANE amount of shit, and really did require some intelligence on the director's part. I know it's a movie some people either "get" or don't get, (not saying I'm smarter than you, but meh, just a difference of opinion). Still, I think thematically the movie could have been handled better, but it had the right idea, and I like it for that.

Why didn't YOU like it?

turbonegro - January 13, 2007 03:10 AM (GMT)
How could you people forget Clerks? It was the greatest low-budget film in my opinion.
