Chastity belt? Wouldn't know, I was born during the 90s'. And shouldn't it be did they helped, not were they help?

In my opinion a chastity belt was made to control women sexuality while the husband was out, Obviously as history goes, we know that ancient times have not been the most conservative as it looked, but by my interpretation of a chastity belt... I will say was a clear sign of male power over women, making look women as a pure property under their will...

At the same time , apeals to me that a chastity belt was not necesarely healthy and I can imagine that could have cause severe infections in women.

plus just imagine if the husband never got back home! :blink:
