Title: Reptiles Rule The World!
28th Kingdom - May 11, 2007 11:27 PM (GMT)
Mwahahaha... no seriously - does anyone know where this idea originated? Certainly it's not from David Icke, as the 80's television program
V - was about reptilian humanoids, who take over the world.
And, of course, the movie
They Live is about a similar subject matter i.e. alien humanoids, secretly controlling the world.
So... how far back can we trace this idea (movies, literature, music) of alien/reptilian/humanoids secretly controlling the world? I'd really like to know, where all of this started.
Anyone... willing to help me research it? Just for entertainment sake.

My guess would be back to the Stone Age. Humans have always imagined animals with human characteristics.

I know... but more specifically... reptilian beings... that take the form of ordinary humans... and who control the world... I'm talking about this whole premise... not just half-human half-animal beings.

Within the science fiction community, V is considered to be derivative of the Twilight Zone "To Serve Man" in which it is finally revealed that the 9-foot alien Kanimets are herding humans for food. This is also played out in The Simpsons Halloween story "How to Cook for Forty Humans".
The creator of V states that he was retelling the story of Nazi Germany. I don't remember the reasoning for his aliens being reptillian.

have some alien pics from ancient indian carvings if you need them
why is man so damn desperate to serve "something" ALL THE TIME ?
is there a point where they "get off" to it, or just get RICH ? includes worship cults
must stem from patterning and conditioning of the species to SERVE and therefore
'NOT BECOME THE MAIN COURSE FOR DINNER" probably where human sacrifice
originated. our cultures are STILL DOING IT and are totally unaware....

large reptiles used to wander into the hut and eat a family member for a midnight
snack. each culture had different ways of dealing with predation. if you cant beat
em, join em
obvious solution was to offer up the enemy one at a time to feed the monsters
tribal reject was dinner, old and sick clan members. religion created human sacrifice ritual to appease the monster god so that the rest of the clan didnt have to be the next meal
behavior pattern is deeply imbedded in our brains. must explain why bush is still in the white house. better to offer up sacrifice ( our soldiers) think of 911 as some terrible beast that attacked us from across the sea, be glad it wasnt one of us, and eat our sandwich like good little children
same thing happened in New Orleans, shock gradually settled into COMPLACENCY
while the few like us remembered SEEING the attrocities and continue fighting it through
AWARENESS MOVEMENTS
GOES ALL THE WAY BACK its in the genes
patterning of human behavior by ancesty (evolution)

this is my presentation on what you may be asking :
exhibit A :

exhibit B: the Snake Buddha :
http://www.flickr.com/photos/truesoundhound/494556560/I personally like exhibit B myself.
To me, it represents the Buddah (or "Christ" if it works for you better) that lives in the caverns of the heart. To me, the Christ living in your hearts automatically guides you to the state of mind where you respect ALL life -- including snakes, Therefore, they respect and protect you back.
And when you can reach this state of consciousness 24x7x356, then you have reached Christ consciousness. And even snakes will hang out with you to protect your dignity and well being.
Be Well & Prosperous.

this is a good one 2 ponder.
my personal experience with Dragon Energy is like what the East Indian spiritual traditons called Kundalini. Kundalini actually mean snake, I think.
When all energy centers on your body (the Chakra system
see here) are moving well. In certain states of mind, ie during meditation or self induced Delta Brain wave patterns emerge. And one becomes Kundalini-lized -- the snake/dragon raises from the base of your spine all the way to the top, crown chakra.
For those not remembering this state of mind when you're a child, all I can say it's like being Yoda -- things around respond to your thoughts.
To me, being near Cats and Dogs whom have tails and used them to conduct themselves, remind me to conduct my energy to be like a Dragon.
In the Eastern/Chinese/Lunor calendar, Dragon people (my sister is) are generally very interesting to me.
thanks for listening.

Three possibilities.
1. They actually existed.
2. Every ancient culture somewhere along the line found dinosaur footprints and skeletons.
3. Every ancient culture had the same cool imagination.

There was also a TV series about reptiles that made advanced technology too cloak themselves as humans. The main chr was a detective reptile that helped too kill humans that found out the turth. It only ran like 5 episodes, but I liked it.
