A friend of mine was in Chicago this week and attended the Graph Expo. She was telling me that there was an exhibition there by the US Army Reserve 17th Psychological Operations Battalion. They gave a film presentation about who they are and what they do (which is mobilize behind enemy lines, and print up flyers to be dropped). She said the soundtrack music on their film contained the song One by U2.

The old U2 fanclub used to be called Propaganda before the internet days.

That just struck me as really weird. I don't know anything about Psyops and thought it might be interesting to talk about or at least get some links so I can look into it more myself.
