Title: Anyone Want A Photoshop Project?
waterdancer - November 12, 2006 11:39 AM (GMT)
Edited to use smaller pics and the closest two matches for before and after which I've found in terms of reference points and perspective. Reference points are: Verizon building edge, Federal building edge, parts of the roofs of WTC 5 and 6 and the sculpture in the plaza fountain. Links on the words "second image" and "third image" below go to hi res. versions of those pics.
What I'd like to see is the WTC 7, promenade and pedestrian bridge from the high res. version of the
second image below overlaid on the hi res. version of the
third image

Waterdancer: Your pictures are too big and run the Edit and Quote options off the page
[been there, done that]
Admin will change them to 'user posted image' then you can post a reduced size version that will fit.

Thanks for the word of advice. I've updated it with smaller pics and a better after comparison pic.

waterdancer, do you realize those pictures don't line up? The perspective is way different, I suppose I could skew it to fit but it wont be very accurate for whatever you are trying to accomplish.

Yeah, I know they don't line up exactly and that there would need to be some skewing done. I'm hoping that the high res on the originals will help make that somewhat feasible. I don't expect it to come out looking perfect, I'd just like to have sort of a sense of what would be located where in the top half of the picture.

Here ya go. Let me know if this works for you.

Many thanks for that effort, Chris! I hate to be a pain, but is there any chance you might be able to make up a combination of something similar to the two pieces I've put together in the image below using the higher res. pics above, of course. If you could do that, I'd greatly appreciate it.
