hi new member who has recently become interested in the 9/11 truth movement after a recent visit to new york. The reason been on visiting the statue of liberty part of the security is to pass through a special scanner that can detect if you have recently been handleing explosives. on speaking to a ranger on site, she told me the scanners would always be set of by people who had just visited the wtc site. this went on for a quite a few months after 9/11. is it just me or does this show that explosives must have been used on the wtc site to bring down at least 1 of the bulidings, if not the towers wtc7. would love to no what people think about this.

It's an interesting story, but that's about it, unless you can get someone going on the record about it. Name, length of employ at the statue, statements about what you've just posted- that kind of thing. Otherwise, it's just unverifiable information floating around on the internet. Of which, there is already a lot.

yeah, that would be worth checking into - getting a video tape interview with whoever told you that.. particularly asking him why it would set off the alarms.. could be from chemicals in the clean up or certain dust, etc.. not necessarily explosives.. it's worth checking out though..

Thats bs why not take a sample of the dust that day and anaylize it... There was enough dust to go around...
