I'm going to be taking a look at some still frames from two videos which can be found at
http://www.youtube.com/v/Z6l0jHneGko and
http://www.youtube.com/v/CwjmqkjwnvQ in comparison with some still pics to get a rough idea of the timing of the footage based on shadow and sunlight analysis. Recommended comparing this analysis with
Mintaka's analysis of an explosion video, since it references the same area and what I'm calling Building B and uses a sundial method as part of the timing analysis.
first up- a picture of the Irving Trust Building, which I will occasionally refer to in other pics as a reference point, then collapse of North tower pics
Let's call the building across Greenwich Street from (to the east of) the Irving Trust building building B. Building B can be seen to be casting a shadow across Greenwich Street onto the ITB's lower northeast corner in these collapse pics. As the day progresses, that shadow will move further east. We will also be observing the shadows being cast by the penthouse structures on the top of building B as the day progresses.
