The calculations are correct: 85.1 = (2 x 1362) / 32, but the formula:

time squared = distance squared / acceleration

should read as:

time squared = 2 x distance / acceleration

According to the distance squared formula it would take an object 4 minutes to reach the ground from a height of 1362 feet.

ook so the final answer is right but the way they got that was wrong?
