During the last Republican debate, Ron Paul said he supported Israel's destruction of the Iraqi nuclear reactor in 1982. He said he felt the USA was intruding in Israel's right to defend itself and its sovereignty. He definately sounds like a Zionist to me. Non-Zionists or anti-Zionists dont talk about "Israel's right to defend itself" and "Israeli sovereignty".

I don't believe the thread title is accurate. Ron Paul is a modern Thomas Jefferson, which would make him a Constitutional non-interventionist. No other politician comes close. Noninterventionism is NOT isolationsim.
