Wheelchair-Bound Woman Left on Las Vegas Airport Tarmac

There is sooo many reasons I hate to fly, thank g-d I don't have a problem like this.

U.S. Airways says a breakdown in communication was the reason a wheelchair-bound woman was left on the tarmac here at McCarran Airport. It happened the night before Christmas.

Jeanne Grettum said she landed in Las Vegas on her way to Orlando. While connecting to a new flight, she was wheeled to the tarmac and left there. An airport worker spotted her and moved her into a hallway where she stayed for hours.

Tammy Nelson, the woman's daughter said, "She called me at 3 a.m., crying hysterically because she didn't know what to do and no one would help her."
