Is that a solid object? Looks like some sort of building structure, what do you think it might be?

I don't know any myth or legend detailing such an object or anomaly to exist in Greenland. Yet, what is it? Is it persistent? What does this portend? It looks man made what ever it is, Photoshop or reality.

Errr, a glitch in Google Earth? That's obviously some scanning bug, how kooky is this? I think Google Earth refreshes from time to time with new satellite scans so that thing would probably be gone next refresh.

Well, if I had to guess that looks almost like a directional SELF ( Super Extremely Low Frequency ) antenna array.... pointed at Washington DC.

Actually that would explain an awful lot. :P

actually, what it looks like to me is two textures not matching up properly. the one on the right side of the fiery spot, makes a perfectly straigt line on the fiery texture. I think it is two textures or "squares" of the global image that are not from the same time/date.

There could have really been something there in the one image, but it seems like if there was some great secret, it would have been scrubbed from Google...
