Title: Ron Paul On Youtube
Description: he gets no respect

I like many people here, am a big Ron Paul supporter. For some time I have been wondering why I almost never hear about RP in the MSM. I have tied to incorporate this logic into my discussions when tell people about RP. Well I don’t express myself well and it doesn’t come out well.

Here’s my point, as in all the debates RP is treated like he’s in last place and gets 10% of the questions the front runners get and he gets almost no press (network news or major newspapers) in the days after each debate. So I was thinking if RP is so strong in the Internet his number must show this in his rating on his youtube videos and sure enough they do. I found this link http://www.youtube.com/members?s=po&t=w&g=-1 to all candidate’s youtube video links and you can click on the "most viewed" and find the link to view “all videos” and look at the numbers. Ron Paul beats them all. Only one video beat RP and that the ridiculous “Huck Chuck facts ” video it has 923,204 views but when you look at the ratings and the amount of people rating it RP wins again. The pages I was linking to have 20 videos each. Huckabee had 3 videos with more than 100,000 hits Clinton had 5 , Giuliani had 1,Romney had 2, McCain had 1, Obama had 7, Edwards had 8 and Ron Paul all 20 with the lowest being 133,666 all having 4.5 star rating.

I’m thinking this is important and if someone could condense this info to where the point could be made on one page it would help to show the media blackout

Can you restate your point please? I support Ron Paul and would like to observe this phenomenon but for othersake, let's make it very clear how they can go about viewing this data.

It may not mean anything that all of us don't already know. To me just by looking at the data RP has everybody beat 3 to one or better, that's just a guess. So why is he treated like he's in last place.

If I could make this point smoothly in a few sentances it may incurage the person I handed a RP dvd to watch it!

sorry like I said I don't express myself well

Not being able to express myself well enough and on point is something I've always had a problem with as well. I'm not good with people. I have an extremelly short fuse, and tend to get frustrated and angered rather quickly when dealing with silly, mindless, brainwashed fools in the general public. When you're trying to push a presidential candidate, you can't really do that, since it will make the target person feel uncomfortable and threatened. Honestly, I really don't have an answer or suggestion to your problem, as I have the same one. Basically, I feel you on this. I tend to be the 'behind the scenes' person, making sure everyone else has the tools and supplies to carry it out. It's easier for all involved I guess.

Ok I added the numbers up and this is what I came up with these are the top 10 videos from each

------------------------- Total Views --------- total of people rating

Fred Thomson --------- - 218,762 -------------- 1717
Mitt Romney ----------1,122,022 --------------- 4646
John McCain ----------- 605,074 --------------- 1802
Mike Huckabee ----------2,258,616 -------------- 11,053
Rudy Giuliani ------------ 688,259 ----------------5,469

Hillary Clinton -----------1,619,153 -----------------11,341
Barack Obama -----------2,559,914 ---------------- 17,394
John Edwards ----------- 2,083,256 ------------------8,035

Ron Paul ------------ 3,305,495 ------------------40,662

Ron Paul has them all beat

What does all this prove? Maybe nothing but if Ron Paul is such a loser as nearly everyone in the MSM says he is then why does he do so well in youtube videos both in views and in ratings?
