that explosion (at 10:10) was much larger than any of the explosions that day. i lived a quarter mile from the pentagon on 911, and although i didnt feel anything between 9:30 and 10am, at 10:10 (actually my watch at the time said 10:08) a concussion shook my house. i was on the phone with a friend at the time, and he was in a car stuck near the 8A washington blvd exit (395north), and he too felt and heard the explosion. u can search back thru this forum, if the page still exists, i made mention of this second explosion awhile back, when another piece of archival footage was linked to, where a lady construction worker made mention of the massive explosion around the (10:10) time in question:
http://video.google.nl/videoplay?docid=575...150910098&hl=nlim glad there is confirmation of this event in the archives, otherwise it hasnt really ever become a major topic in 911 research. i saw that dylan posted a thread wondering about an explosion that was taped where u see a small burst of fire from a distance, but let me be clear, this 10:10 explosion was MUCH LARGER than that one. i live uphill (past the naval annex) and this explosion had enough force to actually knock an item (lucky horseshoe) off of my fireplace mantle. it wasnt anything like the little flash seen in that other video.
of course i wasnt at the scene, so i cant say that this 10:10 explosion happened outside or had any visible fireball to the crowd (like the fox5 reporter from the OP clip). my guess is it was deep inside the pentagon somewhere and out of view. the reporter didnt say she saw it, she said she heard it.
if u could obtain an authentic seismic report for that day, im 100 percent positive that this 10:10 explosion would be the tallest spike on that graph. i have no idea what it was, but it was really huge (i cant stress that enough).
