What do you do, just dump a bunch of cliches into a blender, turn it on and pull the top off?

We NWO shills just love it when Truthers talk about chemtrails. We couldn't do anything ourselves to cause your credibility to plummet as much.

Keep posting!

Really Powerhouse? Perhaps you could give me the "Gravysplanation" for what I see on the days when this activity is going on? I posted this on the "chemtrail" thread the other day but didn't get any feedback. If it's not worth the effort, I'll understand.

Yeah...just happened to have the day off today and was watching the sky for several hours on and off. Absolutely nothing unusual about 100 flights an hour criss-crossing (and circling) the sky at half the altitude of normal commercial flights. Did I forget to mention that a low power set of binoculars reveals no markings on these planes? Did I forget to mention that I've lived at the foot of Pikes Peak (and NORAD) almost my entire life (since 1965) and the vast majority of air traffic has always been east to west...seeing as how there's no where to get to or go from north to south?

What else could it be other than water vapor that they turn on and off as they fly from "cloud" bank to "cloud" bank? I guess they must be just adjusting their flight path, because of course, it's more economical to gain and lose altitude to arrive at your destination as opposed to flying in a straight line.

BTW, I have no clue what "nefarious" objective these flights may have, but I'm convinced it's not normal operating procedure.

Your homogeneous thing just doesn't quite cut it for me.

Jet engine exhaust has a lot of water vapor in it. If the air is sufficiently cool, this vapor condenses into a fog as soon as it leaves the engine. If the humidity is low, the fog evaporates away. If humidity is high, it persists, many times for hours, spreading out into clouds.

None of that is in dispute.

Given that, why do you think that trails you see in the sky are "chemtrails" instead of normal persistent contrails?

Low-power binoculars reveal no markings? Your inability to see a plane's identification number is not proof of anything suspicious. Even using high-powered binoculars it would be tough to pick out a plane's ID number from the ground.

Pick yourself up a radio scanner and you can listen in to the communication between ATC and the cockpit. There are also websites which track IFR commercial flights.

As far as gaining & losing altitude, there are many factors involved. A gain in altitude is common to avoid turbulent air, or to avoid other traffic...that is nothing unusual.

ETA: You're right about one thing...it is water vapor.

it's really all about relative humidity... or "how much water vapor the air can hold" more than it is about temperature.

what gets me though, is those days where there are many persistant trails, and two of them going side-by-side will appear, but only ONE of them has a gap in the trail, which means that this jet actually turned "something" off for a minute, and then turned "it" back on.

Tell me, how often do jets turn off their engines? Since the engines are external, the exhaust is a given if the engines are on.

And the second, more "complete" trail did not have any indication of wind blowing it off of its clean line, so the other one next to it shouldn't either.

So lets just say that chemtrails are certainly worthy of speculating about, but they may not be as heinous as we sometimes imagine they are.

That is not to say, however, that the technology does not exist to poison humanity from the air. We all know that it CAN BE DONE. The question is whether they are doing it, and how frequently.

For those who are diehard "chemtrailers" must realize that the "poison" if there is any, would disapate more quickly if the relative humidity were insufficient to cause it to persist, just as if there were no poison in it.

So the fact that a trail persists probably has nothing to do with its contents...

Even if two trails appear to be side-by-side, the jets are usually 3-10 miles apart or at different altitudes. A "gap" in the trail doesn't indicate that something was "turned off". Don't forget that wind blows up there too...and flying across 1 mile of sky doesn't mean that the winds across that mile are going to be the same. This "phenomena" you observed could easily be caused by wind or temperature differences.

Thanks to our two resident "NWO" denialist/apologists for jumping right on this case and providing paragraphs 1 & 2 straight from the Debunking Chemtrails for Dummies manual. I should have known better than to return to this subject. I'm sure we could have a 100 post circle jerk thread about this, (ending up right where we start) but upon waking this morning, I find I'm not really in the mood for it like I was last night.

I know what I see happening in the sky these past several years is not 'normal' and cannot be explained away by various (hand waving) natural phenomona such as humidity, wind, or temperarture. And yes, I do have the ability to comprehend and apply them to rational thought.

As I've said, I don't know that there is any nefarious plan behind what's going on up there, (though I've seen a number of theories) but there is no question in my mind that something deliberate is taking place. So the next time our "boys in blue" bring their aerial show to a place near you, I urge you to go outside and watch.

They do let you come out of the "NWO" bunker, don't they?

I'm no "NWO apologist", I'm a pilot and I understand a little more about the subject than a lot of the people who claim to be "chemtrail" experts.

What's "not normal" about what you have seen? A vapor trail from a jet's engines is not abnormal. Perhaps if you have a few photos you could post we could make some objective observations?

You'll probably note that the Blue Angels will use smoke for visual effects. The smoke is produced by spraying oil into the hot exhaust gases. This is different than water vapor which would condense from the exhaust at various temperatures/humidities.
