Title: Two Different Tires? - Same Location

DoYouEverWonder - October 23, 2007 11:10 PM (GMT)
I guess it's the same tire but it's moved and lost some parts along the way?

Amazing how another plane crashing through a building this time, could manage to knock down another lightpost.

Edit: Oops, posted wrong forum. Meant to post in the regular WTC forum.

the problem with your analysis is the trouble dating the timing of the tire's appearance.

the SECOND photo appears to be taken post 903am, but before 10:00am -- during the 56 minute window before WTC2 came down. note that street is clean of dust

the scene is largely the same but in photo #1, it has rolled to the left, is covered with dust, and bricks have appeared.

the 'light pole' appearing in the foreground is the same.

but WHEN was the second, dusty photo taken? that's the 1st problem...

The tire was moved look how it sits in front of the pole and closer to the top of the post in the street on the clean photo. Then the dust photo it is back in the middle of the x's in the scaffolding. The point of the axle seems oriented properly on both but the clean photo has no fins and looks like a different axle. Not sure if that could be hiding under seeing that it was moved. Possibly got pushed by the wall of hot air and debris during the collapse? Looks like the scaffolding pole was kinda in the way slightly to allow the tire to move cleanly in the direction it went though.

There is enough inconsistancy though to ride this one till the wheels come off!

Yeah!!! Those police wires are also not in there place!!! Oh brother pls...

Interesting find. I guess i can understand things shifting during the collapse, but the axles appear to be completey different, as others have noted.

Two different tires, two DIFFERENT places. In the second photo, you can see the street to the right of the tire. Not so in the first photo.

In the first photo, the rightmost green pole is right in front of some sort of vent. Not so in the second photo.

Its the same tire, someone just rolled it over during the clean up.

Edit: They are different aren't they  ?

DoYouEverWonder - November 12, 2007 01:13 PM (GMT)
I agree that it's probably the same tire. What I don't understand is how it lost some major pieces of metal and sustain more damage in just one roll, when the debris cloud past?

Also, what's with all the red arrows and marks? It's almost like they were marking the stage for where to put the props. I suppose, these marks were put there after the fact but if someone went through all that trouble in a very short amount of time, then why didn't they post policemen to 'protect' such an important piece of evidence and to keep people away from it? All the bystanders are standing around gawking at it but it doesn't seem like any law enforcement types are around, you would think they would be on this thing like stink on shit.

Nice of them to leave the lamppost there to mark things.

BTW: See the end of the axle with the sharp point? Shouldn't that have turned with the wheel since it's no longer attached to anything else?

I don't think the red arrows/marks have anything to do with the tyre - it's not unusual to see spray markings on the pavement where work is taking place (hence the scaffolding).

so was the scaffolding moved too? Look at it again, the placement is off, so did a piece get removed?
