How do you KNOW the 2001 OBL is the actual one? How do you know they aren't all stand-ins? How can you PROVE these OBL's aren't the same person? What does this have to do with 9/11? How do you know it isn't just Al Qaeda that is just putting random stand-ins on video?

Assuming the latter, 9-11 Truth isn't about proving anything. Its about full disclosure and justice. OBL is also a good starting point to examine the current state of affairs and rhetoric. The contention by the majority found on this board is that Bin Laden, who was bred and fed by the CIA for most of his career - remains as such (if he's even alive which is very doubtful). Factually he IS the icon by which the government continues to perpetuate the myth of 'terror on our doorstep'. For that reason he is a valuable tool in integrating the policies by which our Constitution is being dismantled. Being the icon that he is and the domestic and foreign policies being forced onto us, any statement by what is represented as the face of terrorism is a valuable commodity by the ruling global elites and is therefore extremely relevant. The allegation by our government is that terrorism exists and is spearheaded by OBL. If its fake - the threat has no empirical relevancy. Without relevancy - the neo-con fascist agenda of a New World Order becomes much more contentious between the ruling elite and thier constituents.

Aside from the nose job - look at it how facial recognition does so in principle - the distance from the bottom of the eye to the bottom corner edge of his right nostril - clearly not the same person. The real OBL has a much larger facial area between these two points.

The Fact is the fake footage posted is the ONLY evidence the CIA has produced as to OBL explicitly stating he was the mastermind - there is nothing else and in fact on 9-11 he made a statement denying his involvement. The CIA did release that as the only evidence, BUT they didn't really say it was credible. Just because the CIA released it doesn't mean it was created by them, it still could very well have been created by Al Qaeda and not really be OBL in the video. It could even have been made by some random guy from Minnesota.

Basically what I'm saying is your conclusions are jumped to... They make sense but that's not necessarily the truth. It could have been created by the CIA or someone else completely different so it isn't really logical to just jump to one seeing as there is no evidence supporting either. THAT is why it's irrelevant, at least to me, because there is nothing backing it up.

To answer your question, I'm not convinced by either story and that's why I'm here. I want to decide for myself rather than listening to what other people are saying.

Unfortunately, I'm not as easily convinced as you I suppose... I want hard, mathematical evidence.

I realize I don't have a doctorate in physics so I don't make claims or observations like the majority of people here do. It's nice to see these ideas but a picture of a cloud of smoke that could have come from anywhere, or an extremely low-res photo of OBL will not convince me. I go to an engineering school so I'm planning on putting together a lot of evidence and going over it with my colleagues and professors and actually calculating things myself instead of taking other people's words for it.

I think I'm going about this pretty logically and with an open mind. If you have objections to how I'm treating this feel free to speak, but I think it's better than relying on circumstantial evidence.
