Title: Michael Moore To Make "fahrenheit 9/11½"
Description: what do you make of it?

hello,

this is my first post (other than the introducing of myself in the newcomers section)... i was on IMDB.com today and saw that director Michael Moore is going to make another 9/11 documentary entitled "Fahrenheit 9/11½"... the description is this:

"In the wake of the 2004 United States Presidential election, Michael Moore continues to examine what happened to the United States after September 11, and how the Bush Administration allegedly used the tragic event to push forward its agenda for unjust wars in Afghanistan and Iraq."

it is scheduled for a 2008 release.

now i know that it wont compare to LCFC, but do you think that michael moore will lob the white house another softball with this one? or do you think that he'll perhaps show an ounce of truth in this sequel?

thanks and take care,

ron

He's a closet disinfo artist. Three parts truth, two parts misdirection. I wonder if his new doc will be funded by Disney like the last was.

to me hes doing a good job to even get people asking questions about 9/11 in a mainstream light is good and lets face it in 04 if he woulda released a loosechange he'd be dead right now

HE'S A HIGH ROLLER. more interested in playing the popularity game than taking what he thinks is gamble, he will wait until the topic is mainstream, and then ride the wave.
his only objective is to make money and a name for himself

i recently watched his "SiCKO" documentary, and i liked it. but his 1st 9/11 documentary was like looking at a bad car wreck and commenting on the wrinkles in the rescue workers uniforms. he seemed to focus on the wrong and MUCH less important points. should be interesting. cheers,

ron

Bingo. I see alot of newbies in this field fall in love with Michael Moore, which just boggles my mind.

I still think Moores films do some good.. just look at what he exposed in F911

I think there is alot we don't know about Michael Moore. From what people say behind the scenes, he couldn't care less for anyone but himself and he may just be used by the Bush regime to whitewash the things they do or keep everyone distracted. From all I've seen of him he is not trustworthy. Also socialized medicine is not the way to go. I like Ron Paul's philosophy much more.

From what I've heard, he's become much more receptive to our ideas over the years. Whether those will show up in his new film is another story. This is the first I've heard of it. Even though he's uttered some sort of wishy-washy support for a new 9/11 investigation, I still regard him warily. His gun-grabbing bowling movie makes me want to hit my head against the wall.
