I don't recall him being against all of the violations of the 4th amendment by the "patriot" act.
I won't be voting for him. He seems to be laying back and letting everyone else screw up so he can wait for the right time to come in and say what everyone wants to hear.

Hey, that's not a bad idea... Both declare independance and join up, with Paul as VP. I think they'd win, at least if they waited for a short time to let their momentum build a bit more...
