There seems to be some link between Hunter S. Thompson, James Guckert/Jeff Gannon and the Valerie Plame outing. Something I read back when that whole mess happened and Hunter committed suicide. Some folks speculate there was more to his decision to take his life than the fact that football season was over. If I recall, the essay dealt with James Guckert being involved with the Washington escort service since he was a child, and that Hunter S Thompson may have been at the Bohemian Grove. The whole thing seemed pretty far flung but it still was interesting reading.
