I've posted once in the past, and came to the conclusion that I do not believe your version of the story. If any evidence was given to me, I'd be open and receptive to it...but all I've been given is misquotes, selective pictures (the ones you want me to see because they help your case the most) and opinions from people who are far from experts.
What I would like to do today is contest one point in the film. Building 7 would be "The third steel framed building in history to collapse because of a fire. The first two, would be the Twin Towers." Then the video goes on to mention numerous other tall buildings that survived fires.
Now, I'd like you to read this part of an article from Wikipedia.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacArthur_Maz...nector_collapseThe quote that I want you to read is:
"The intense heat from the subsequent fuel spill and fire weakened the steel structure of the roadway above, which served as the connecting ramp from Interstate 80 east (from San Francisco) to Interstate 580 east (to Oakland), collapsing approximately 168 feet (50 m) of it onto the lower connector."
So, Loose Change contests that jet fuel can't burn hot enough to weaken steel and cause a building to collapse. Now, I don't have exact weights of either the bridge sections that collapsed or either of the buildings, but I'm willing to bet a few bucks that the buildings were a bit heavier. Also, I have not done the research needed to see what temperature Fuel from a tanker burns at compared to fuel from a jet engine, I'm basing my post off the fact that they are probably close enough, and if anything, the jet fuel probably burns a bit hotter.
Hell, I'll even give loose change some help, lets say that only 1/3rd of the weight of the building was pressing down on the weakened steel from the fire. I'm still willing to bet that the weight is much higher than any of the stress that was on the bridge that collapsed.
Any thoughts or arguements?
