Title: Loose Change Will Still Get Parliament Screening
EARTHQUAKE - June 11, 2007 07:56 PM (GMT)
Britain's Conservative Party appear to be jumping on the Truth Seekers bandwagon by, both, calling for an inquiry into Iraq in today's Parliament session and also a planned screening of Loose Change this week will still go ahead.
The screening will still take place.
The government just didn't want people challenging them on what they thought about it, so they are making the screening a less public affair. The way they did with Faranheight 9/11.
Personally, I hope they wait for the final cut.

Do you have a source for this information, that we can check out on the Internet?
EARTHQUAKE - June 11, 2007 09:13 PM (GMT)
Unfortunately, I don't.
It was rumored supposed to have happened a year ago. Funnily enough on the same day of June 14th. However, the screening was cancelled due to media interest.
The word is that at some point this week, several documentaries will be screened, including Loose Change, Panorama's: The War Party, Press For Truth and surprisingly, OutFoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War On Journalism.
This is all said t be tied in with conservative calls to launch a fresh investigation into the decision to go to war with Iraq.
William Hague actually said TODAY in parliament that people had lost faith in the government and needed their faith restoring, which he believed a fresh investigation into the Iraq War would based on a lot of public questions would bring. Margaret Beckett looking, nervous, refused to launch any investigation while British troops were still in Iraq.
This is actually a good thing. As much as I hate, both, the Conservative party and Labour Party, the Conservative Party would quite willingly prove Blair's role in 9/11 and Iraq just to discredit the opposition.
This was the story lasy year:

Following our conversations we now have the go ahead from Michael Meacher.
He has organised a screening of Loose Change 2 at Parliament. It is now confirmed for June 14th. We will be showing it to an audience of up to 200 specially invited MP's, Members of the Lords, and lobby journalists.
Michael has made the following comments about the film: "It is a very formidable assembly of the evidence. It makes a very powerful case but it is a matter for people to make up their own minds."
According to Meacher, the data assembled proves that there are major discrepancies in the official accounts of what happened on the day, including the findings of the 911 Commission. "You are left with the question, what did really happen? It's clearly been very well researched. It is impressive by any standard."
He also believes that the media has not investigated the claims as thoroughly as other less controversial subjects.
"It is an issue that clearly the media and many members of the public shy away from. There has not been the kind of thorough investigation as you get on many other matters. I think 9/11 is so important that as many people as possible should see this film. That's what I hope to achieve. It really deserves to get the fullest exposure."
Can I send you a copy of the film so you can judge for yourself whether it a) suitable for Telegraph readers to view and B) whether it is a subject that the Telegraph is keen to write about.
We are convinced that the involvement of the Telegraph will give British people the opportunity to judge for themselves as to whether there is a case for a new investigation into 9/11.
I do hope that the Telegraph will seize this important opportunity. From a marketing stand-point I am sure that the inclusion of the DVD in a Sunday edition will not only be a sell out, it will attract a new loyal young audience to your paper.
Screenings have taken place this week in many locations in the US and are now being organised in Europe and Australia - the buzz amongst young people in the US is quite phenomenal, with internet downloads growing at between 500,000 and 1,000,000 each week.
I look forward to hearing from you.
With kind regards
