a chapter on him riding with DMX.
chapter on nas.
at the end of the interview he talked about a chapter on lauryn hill. saying how he talked with 25 or 30 people who are around her. how shes not with ro anymore. how she was hooked up with brother anthony buying him cars.

I can't wait, but I find that guy very nosy to be all up into L's personal business.
How do you think she'll feel about it ? :badmood:

i'm gonna get that book as well, tho i hope it's better than the jesus book!

I don;t know how to feel about the book. Toure ( the writer) lives his life making money off celebrity gossip. He was the one who wrote the Rolling Stone article about how "crazy" Lauryn is. <_<

I was going to post something about this.
I don't mind people that report on celebrities, it's their job and someone has to do it. And although we might not like their methods (or even them), we are, on some level, grateful for the info that we otherwise wouldn't have known.
HOWEVER, i have a problem with people that obviously just want to cash in on celebrities and write 'controversal' articles.
"Mary J is a bitch"
"Lauryn is crazy"
"Read my book"
I don't like it. But meh, i'm curious as to what's in the book and will read the chapter when someone posts it. I'm just hoping it's not completely biased and insulting.

I don't really know much about Mary J Blige. Does she really have that reputation >?

She used to take drugs / drink and was labelled as a 'diva' with her crazy demands and stuff.
But she says she's changed now.
Just today she was in the paper over here though, she said she's only a 'diva' when she's on tour. lol, it reported that while on tour, she requested a new toilet seat for every venue she visited.

Mary J. Blige behaved like a diva because she had huge problems. her drug addiction and her career made her behaviour very strange. Her album "no more drama" is about this crazy time. I've seen many interviews with her and I think it's very poor to write gossip that happened years ago about people who really chnged their life! She really changed herself and you can hear it in her song. It's ok if you write about hard times of a celebrity, but it's not fair to portray a celebrity who really learned from her mistakes as a bitch!
PEACE

Why are you all buying into an unauthorized book which invades the privacy of the person you supposedy adore? This sounds like mere tabloid hearsay if you ask me. It's like when you see those books about Michael Jackson written by his gardiner's cousin's postman's uncle. Come on guys, what's the deal!

Seriously, though, I don't think all of us are going to buy the book, Stine is going to buy it to see what it's about, and post it for us to read. -_-

lol, i hate those ones. Books by people that 'know' the star but in reality they couldn't have been anymore distant from them.

Yeah exactly. I just wanna check it out, maybe they'll mention something about her next album - Who knows? I don't think it's only about Ro and stuff.
