More on the Montblanc Diamond

We mentioned the Montblanc anniversary pen a couple of months ago but now WWD has more info on the distinctive diamond that is a part of the pens and watches that are being made to celebrate the brand's 100th anniversary. The diamond cut took eight years of research and development to design and has 43 facets. Only stones over half a carat will can be cut into the star shape. Montblanc's Lady profile watch which has a 18K whoite gold case, mother-of-pearl dial and the Montblanc diamond in the crown will sell for $3,050. A party in New York on March 14 to show off the diamond will be hosted by Claire Danes and Lauryn Hill will perform. "Mindfreak" magician Criss Angel will do the honors of presenting the diamond.

Cool, it's good Lauryn is getting back into the spotlight. Something tells me we won't get to see this performance though.

You mean on this site, right? That's something I have noticed too and I think it's so strange. Usually it's Bob Marley or Wyclef adverts. Do they check out what we're talkin about and then find some adverts that are appealing specifically to us? :unsure:

I think so.

I think Google (as it's a google ad) picks out the most common words in a thread and then displays an advert that's most relevant.

Hmm, true, but considering she's been out of the public eye (of the mainstream music audience at least), i think she should take every opportunity she can to get out there again.

A source at Columbia informs me that LH has finished her new album. It will be released on May 15 in the states and she will back it with a world-wide tour beggining in her home town of South Orange New Jersey on May 26!!!!

The advance word is the album is very strong!
