I find it slightly disturbing though how a mental health problem could be considered a joke though.
My friend's mum has only just been diagnosed with Biopolar Disorder, she must be in her 40's/50's and up until now, she's never really had a *strong* symptoms. But in the last few months she's tried to kill herself two times. That shit is crazy.
If Lauryn really is suffering from biopolar disorder. Then she's mentally ill. That's serious stuff - i dont think its the sort of stuff you should be promoting your album off the back of.
And furthermore, how can you be painting someone out to be a bitch and difficult to work with, if they're suffering from a serious mental condition? If L is suffering from biopolar, then she can't be blamed for her behaviour because she's ill.
But hey, i'm not going to make a judgement on her mental state until i hear it from someone 'offical'... or at least someone that voices their concern out of love rather then spite.

Hi....I havent been on this board for a while. When I was on it was a few years ago and everybody was postin their rhimes and spoken word. I do have an opinion about this however. WYCLEF does NOT need to blast Lauryn on the radio for the whole public to hear. The assumption that she is mentally ill has already been spoken...so why would you , being a former confidant and bandmate (friend), continue to blast her like he did in interviews in the past. Lauryn has always sought freedom from this and its apparent why... IM SURE she can afford a psychiatrist , even i damn near can!!!!!!///////////// If Wyclef truly cared he wouldnt put these rumors of he said she said out in the open...he would privatly speak to her family and friends about this....he shouldnt talk about her VERY PERSONAL business to the public or to a stranger radio host.....THATS BOGUS.....I think hes jelous and he wants to control her like always and he needs to stop dissin her and trying to sound like hes trying to help....hes always attacked her not helped her.

More bull fromClef. If he really cared 4 LH @ all he'd decline comment. Go to NJ & talk 2 Lauryn , her mom & dad and not the media.
His album came out 2 wks ago & didnt even dent the charts. Meanwhile LH's MisEd, Unplugged, Jperiod tape still continue 2 sell.
