......yeah I guess she does still talk/interact with the audience (Oakland), now it is just when she feels inspired and secure enough to share herself, she is more guarded now.

it's preeetty hard to have an intimate conversation with people in the audience when there's so many and it's so dark.....duh

Lauryn has been talking to the crowd in some of her shows...I think it was either at Pala,CA. or the Vegas show where she talked briefly. I was reading and chatting with a friend yesterday about the show in Isreal I think...where she took a tee shirt a fan was giving her, and showed it to the crowd. The shirt had something about peace on it.....from what i hear, that was a very moving part of the show! People started chanting for peace or something like that....ill find the story if i can and put it on here........

She talks during almost all the relatively smaller venues. The best "talk" was London in 2005 after some of that classless crowd called her "b#tch" for showing up so late. She started a little dialoge that was kinda funny. And then just to annoy them even further she did not one piece of poetry, not two but three poetry readings. Which cleared out some more of the crowd. After those people left she got down to biz. :D
