Title: editing

sybillecutey - September 28, 2005 07:41 PM (GMT)
I've been editing some of the posts due to typos etc...
Like where ddd wrote "womans" instead of "women", and Kms "layer" instead of "lawyer".It's totally understandable since english is not your first language.
Are you guys okay with this ?
I think it makes it easier for other readers.

ddd - September 28, 2005 07:44 PM (GMT)
It's OK by me(did I wrote this right?LOL :D )

sybillecutey - September 28, 2005 07:50 PM (GMT)

I've noticed that too! Or maybe it's just because there's so much stuff to talk about at the moment, that you've been writing longer posts :) Actually this is a GREAT way of practising your English - I'm not in school at the moment, so I'm glad I can practise my written English in here (Otherwise I probably would've forgotten half of it by now!)

sybillecutey - September 29, 2005 05:50 PM (GMT)
Yeah, actually french is my first language. And I'm actually studying in the dominican republic,so I have to speak spanish as well.
I'll end up crazier than a looney tune with all these different languages.!

Stine - September 29, 2005 06:05 PM (GMT)
So they speak French in Haiti? And where is the Dominican Republic? I was never good a geography :whisle:

Beita - September 29, 2005 06:35 PM (GMT)

I think that Haiti and the Dominican Republic are in the same island.. They are the same island divided in two different countries right?

Sybillecutey, do you speak Spanish? that's cool... I'm from Spain and Spanish is my first language of course..

How do you like the Dominican Republic? You have beautiful beaches there, don't you? You guys are so lucky... ;)

sybillecutey - September 29, 2005 07:05 PM (GMT)
yup, they speak french and creole (some kind of patois) in haiti. the dominican republic and haiti are on the same island.
I like living in the dominican republic better than haiti because the political situation is more stable, but both countries are alike in termsof beach, nature etc...
