Just got back from the gig...

WOW!

The show was amazing overall. What a lot of the reviews have been saying are right. The beggining was a bit messy, mainly because the band drowned her out, you couldn't hear her properly. The crowd weren't really feeling it.

But then it all got sorted, somtime before Ex-Factor, and it was amazing. Everyone loved it. She really connected with the audience. When she was doing the Fugees songs, people went mad. Obviously the Miseducation songs went down very well, and I was suprised at how many people joined in with Lose Myself!

May i just say, I thought the majority of the crowd were very rude and two faced. Ms. Hill was due on at 9.00. At about 9.15 the booing started, people were chanting refund, and actually started leaving. She didn't come on til about 10.20 I think. Worth the wait personally, but some people were very impatient.

But apart from that, I loved it. I think its made me love her a bit more, and I didnt think that possible :wub:

God the crowed sounds bad. I thought the london crowed would be but they wern't some ppl walked out but no1 booed. But i sounds like you had a great time. Im gonna try and go 2 manchester gig 2nite but its doubtful i will.

if i had the money i would be there at manchester tonight! hope you get to go though. the crowd were really bad, i felt sorry for the dj playing before her cuz he was gettin booed, and it wasnt his fault!

EEEESH thts so harsh. Lauryn was only 30 mins late and ppl were still coming in at tht time so no1 noticed. I looked at flight costs and they are like £160 with the cheapest airlines so it looks like i wont be going :( I just want 1 more time 2 c her she may never come back :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

i know, it was harsh, he was puttin his hands up like to say he didnt know what was happening, i started clappin him cuz i felt bad for him. he was good aswell! i know what you mean, i miss her already, god knows when/if shel be back.

she was smiling at me when she was singing lose myself :wub:

does anybody knows if she's performig "I had to walk" and "damnable heresies"?
cause nobody is talking about those songs and I would die to hear them.

BUT

if she is going to come on stage late, she is going to get booed.period.

i didnt go to any of the shows cause i didnt have the money for the tickets, so ppl who did pay, have the right to be mad.

AND

I think lauryn knows this, thats why when ever she comes on stage late, she never acknoledges it.
