What does she mean by:
"exposed by the very things that we adore/ignore"?
What would be an example of this?
It's exposed by the very things that we adore. What I got from it is that the things that we believe we love so much can turn into our deadly weapon and cause us to change into something we never saw ourselves to be. She speaks alot about how music was her love, her passion but then when her vanity got in the way, her profession turned into her prison because now that she was on top she cared about so many things such as how she looked and what people thought of her.
