Sam comes a very very very close second to Jack for me (seriously i'm talking nanometres after). They're all great characters!

And Sam is by far my favourite character, followed by Jack, then jointly by Janet, Daniel, Teal'c, Jonas, Jacob and Hammond. (I can't pick favourites out of those six easily!)

Most definately Sam. Every form of her, especially RepliCarter and Geek!Sam :D

The rest of them are all tied for me too because they're all great! I think the show wouldn't have survived season 7 if they hadn't been, let alone season 8.

But Geek-Sam was just too good, and too funny!

Much agreement. Geek!Sam was terrific. I'd have to say Amanda and Rick (no matter which version of Sam and Jack they're playing) are my faves.

My favourite character is Sam ..I just like who she is and she is the only woman I can relate in Stargate SG1 because she is strong but also has her weaknesses .She is a great character ..even in season 7 and 8 ..I got to see a different Sam and it was good too ..plus she changed a lot from a young woman in the earlier seasons to a mature beautiful woman in the 2 last season .:)

Not forgetting that I love Jack too ..but Sam I can relate :)

I can relate to Jack as he's a shut book...you don't really know him that well...He also has a habit of acting a dumba$$ when he's not dumb!

Funny thing was that Depressive-Jack wasn't all that different to normal Jack, but Geek-Sam and Geek-Daniel were really different. And yet they all got on so well...

I think Amanda played Geek Sam very well...almost too well, she's a great actress. And geeky Daniel was just funny.

There was something wierd going on with Geek-Daniels hair though. I kept expecting it to stand up and start talking...or maybe it was his hair who took him as a host, and not a Goa'uld...

Yay for the hair...aw for Daniel. At least we still have normal Daniel! :) Who is muscly. :D

Hard choice : Sam or Jack ?...

Finally I've chosen Jack cause I just love him : his humor, his "dark side", the way he cares for Sam (and the rest of his team ;) ) without even saying it... The fact he's a nice and smart and amazing and so hot man is not the reason I chose him at all :P
But Sam is a great character too. I really loved how AT played "geeky Sam" in Moebius. It was hilarious ! :D

Choosing a favorite character is hard with this group. I like Jack's humor, loyalty, and the fact that he is smarter then he lets on. Of course it also helps that he is CUTE!

Teal'c is funny with his one liners. Also, he is always aware of what is going on around him and what his teammates are going through. I love that wisdom.

Daniel ... well Daniel is CUTE, enough said there. Actually one of my favorite episodes is Lifeboat. I thought it showed the depth of MS acting abilities.

I think my favorite character is Sam. She is always coming up with these brilliant plans. Her strength is her mind, but sometimes it is also her weakness. She tends to over think things or listens to her head more then her heart. She has a lot of confidence when saving the world, but when it comes to men she tends to lack confidence. To me that makes her character easier to relate to.
