I've been batting about these ideas for a while.

1. Stargate Alpha - takes place in 2006.

Hayes decides it's time to make the Stargate program public knowledge, but gives everyone at homeworld security and the SGC the opportunity to tell three people about it a year before it goes public. In order to stop people blabbing, they're offered the chance to visit the Alpha Site.

Jack picks his sister Siobhan, brother Mac and Cousin Sam ( :D ) to go through to the alpha site.

Siobhan (seen in my Hell's trilogy) is a researcher at SETI.
Macgyver (Angus :P) (also Hell's trilogy) is a P.I.
Sam is and RAF officer from Glasgow...she also serves as a link officer between the USAF and RAF.

Sam picks one person - her brother Mark

Mark (seen in The Hell's trilogy) is a chemist and pharacist.

When it is time for the trip to the Alpha Site, Walter Harriman and Sgt Siler are put in charge of the first group. Also accompanying them are Pete Shanahan and Kerry Johnston ( :blink: :ph43r: )

Pete is there as it's a civilian thing and he's a civilian now enlisted with the ATF.
Kerry is there to ensure everything runs smoothly, since she's CIA.

This is idea number one!

Idea number 2

SG1 Flip Side

Set in 2035

It follows a new SG1 comprised of

Colonel Cassie Frasier - commander of the team
Captain Brian Jackson - son of Daniel and Sara
Lieutenant Grace Jackson - daughter of Sam and Jack, wife of brian
Dr. Scott O'Neill - son of Jack and Sam. Ironically is the team's Socio-political Nerd.

Recurring characters - SG1 and Ryac!

Flip Side will chart the teams adventures in a new age of exploration after the feature of the Ninth Chevron is discovered.

the ninth chevron opens up a wormhole to one location discovered in my fic the seven sisters (incomplete) where there are severak Stargates to other galaxies and dimensions.

Feedback...ideas...theories...anyone?

In the Second story the fact that 75% of the new SG1 are the children of the old SG1 seems a little wierd. There are many ways you could explain it, but I am saying that you should at some point.

The first story, well the idea sounds like it could go either way- but I just read some of your stories so I shall have faith.

they both sound loverly! but jack and sam's daughter marrying daniel and sarah's son?? thats a little strange.... daniel would be like an uncle to jack and sams kids.... good ideas tho!

I never fully explained the first idea.

The Orri (and no I know nothing about them so expect the badguy to change) spirit all of the Alpha Site folk away to another planet in another galaxy to another Lost City. This time it's underground and was home for the Furlings. Once there, they discover you need the Furling equivalent of the Ancients gene to operate any technology. They also find themselves in the heart of hostile galaxy where everything is dead except from the enemy, who use the area as a massive weapons Silo.

hehe? a massive weapons silo? well doesnt that sound familar???? lol

good idea, sounds like fun!
