My name's suekay. I'm 17 years old and from Scotland. I've been watching Stargate for about a year now, and have been writing fanfiction for several months. I'm a BIG sci fi fan, having followed quite a few shows!

I love music and outdoor sports, but my greatest weakness is shopping!

I'm otherwise known as Megan, I'm 18 and in England. Been watching Stargatesince i was about 13 or 14 I think. een writing fanfics for...Oh, about 2/ 2.5 yrs now (huh, hadn't realised it was that long). ALso a huuuuge fan of Star Wars (hence the pen name for those who recognise it) and i have been known to say and do rather odd things all in the name of entertaining myself so...if i do say or do wierd things just ignore me.

Im Rachael. i'm 18 (turning 19 April 5th tho!) and originally from Newcastle Upon Tyne (england) but at the moment am mainly living in Carmarthen (South West Wales) cos i'm at Uni there studying Creative Writing with English (this is what fanfic writing does to you!!)

anyway, i've loved Stargate since it started with the film in 1994 (i was 8! - man do i feel old now!) but i've only been writing fanfiction for about a year. its mostly Jack/Sam, but every so often i ... well actually no i think it's all Jack/Sam so far, but i am gonna do some team stuff!... eventually... i think...

oh well. looking forward to seeiing where this forum goes! esp with the writers block thread - that's gonna be useful!!

I was a fan of the movie and would have been 6 or 7 when it came out...then I found SG1 during season four reruns...and didn't like it!

That is...until last year when my best friend forced me to watch Window of Opportunity and Divide and conquer!

I've never looked back!

*waves* Hey Everyone, i'm MajorSam, from North Vanccouver (British Columbia, Canada!) Been a fan since season 1, completely hopelessly obsessed since my second episode, Solitudes, (I watched them waay out of order at first) So of course I became a ridiculous shipper from that same beginning. Amanda Tapping is my idol, been writing fics in my head for about... 5 years, only worked up the nerve to start any last year or so!!! I've only finished two (blush) but I've got really good responses, and have millions more on the way :D Mine also seem to end up around either Sam, or Sam/Jack (or both!)

Can't wait to check out everyone's fics! :D

Oh, as well i'm a definate Shep/Weir shipper. I have a fic for that one the way as welL!

Hi, I'm Ann and I live in the U.S. and I started watching Stargate during Season 6, and loved the team interaction, but once I saw the sparks between J/S, I became a loyal fan.

I have only been writting fanfiction for about 6 or 7 months now...so I'm still learning, but at least I'm having fun writing my own and reading everyone elses. :)

I'm a Canadian living in the states for the time being. (You will never know what a thrill it is for me to see McKay playing a Canadian on Atlantis. I think he's just great!) I'm 21 and at university. I discovered fanfic during my freshman year, which I now blame for my slightly lower grades that semester :D But then I started writing during my sophomore year and what a stress relief it was for me! It's great to be connected with others of same interests who are yet so different.

I post my stories on fanfiction.net, though I hope to post some here as well.

I'm so glad to have joined this group! This is a really well laid out site. Lots of great stuff.

Well my name is Cathain, I write as Cathain Nottingham and I've posted on Gateworld.net and FanFiction.net as well as several others. I keep up with Gateworld and Fan Fiction though.

I'm 18 and I've been a fan of the show since *thinks* I'm not really sure! A few years. I've been writing for years but I've been writing and posting fan fiction for nearly two years. I live in California, just outside of San Francisco actually.

I'm a S/J shipper though I have been known to write S/D and enjoy other pairings, I'm a major romantic too (as anyone who's read my stuff can agree).

I haven't written anything for Atlantis yet even though I'm in love with that show as well.

Shona (don't know if she's here - will get her to come along if she's not) has gone from Egyptologist wannabe to Egyptologist GONNABE!!!!

she's doing a degree in it at the moment - all cos of Daneil! now that's going some!!

i even made the mistake of saying she was doing an Archaeology degree one time.

BIG MISTAKE! she bit my head off (figuratively!) and then ranted on for about an hour an the differences between Archaeology and Egyptology.

i felt like Jack at that point! "What?" was the best response i could find for her! it was soooooooooo over my head!
