I'd have to say... season 6, 7 and 8 team ;) I always thought SG-1 should've had five members after Daniel came back - and then it could've been four members when Jack was promoted.

I'm holding judgement on the season nine team - though have to admit I'm hoping Ben Browder will bring the 'working leather pants' thing to Stargate... Hee! *innocent*

The original team forever, season 1-5, 7. I loved Jonas at first, but sadly it really doesn't compare to the wonderful 6 years of full true Sg-1. They're what made me want to watch the show in the first place!!! Season 9 I'm reaaaally worried about :S

I'd say the original team, though it is nice when they change it up a bit. Having Jonas in for a season was a nice change of pace though we were glad to get Daniel back.

It's hard to say. I say maybe season 3-5 and 8 had the best group feeling for the team. Jokes and such, they seemed to have bonded and settled into their characters well enough.

I think Jonas was adorable though, watching him and Jack bond through season 6 was terrific and watching Teal'c warm up to him was sweet too.

I'm looking forward to season 9 as of now. I'm trusting in the writers and actors to carry on the show that we've all grown to love. I love Ben and I hope that his new role in SG-1 fits him as well as Farscape did. I know a lot of people are afraid of his new role!

Personally, i thinlk the Season 7 team was the best!

There was someything about Daneil that was just ... so... i don't know what actually, but after coming back he was different, you know? and it kinda worked.

also liked Season 6, tho cos Jonas was sweet!

Jack and Sam are great in every season! i find shippyness in everything! (literally! - apart from Nightwalkers when Jack wasn't even there!)

actaully that's a point (bit of a jump but it makes sense to me...)

watched Zero Hour the other day... does anyone else see the really sweet shippyness when Jack insists that SG-whichever-it-is goes with them?

it's when Sam's "sulking" in her lab and Daniel says something about its nothing to do with her leadership, he's just being careful?

that is soooooooo because Jack doesn't want her to get hurt without him! (that's my reading anyway!)

Original SG1 team series1-5, although Daniel changed a bit when he came back so I think I prefer season 7. Jonas was funny tho...oh please don't make me choose!

What i've heard is that Sam won't be in the first x-number of episodes because of her baby, but she will be in later. And apparently Ben Browders character was promised any posting he wanted as long as he made a full recovery after the air battle in Lost City so he might well at least try for Command of SG1.

I'm happy to trust in the writers for the changes in Season 9...after all, nothing survives the same way forever, and TV becomes stale if it doesn't change. Plus Ben Browder in a uniform...*grins*

I liked the original team as well, although I did start watching the show in Season 6 with Jonas. It's nothing against Jonas I liked him as well.

As far as season 9 ... I'm a little concerned. I like Ben Browders. I'm just not happy with him taking over command of SG-1, but I'm hoping it's just while Sam is away. I know change is good, so I'll stay tuned in for Season 9 and make up my mind then.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Michael Shanks say that (POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR SEASON 9 FOLLOWS)

SG-1 split up after the end of Season 8 because the Replicators and most of the Goa'uld system lords were defeated?

I also heard the rumor that Sam wasn't returning to SG-1 when she returns to help the SGC with a problem. I also wonder how much field action AT will be able to do a month in a half to two months after giving birth (Congrats to AT on the brith of her daughter!). She could probably do it, but I wouldn't be able to. :)

SG-1 got caught and were all like <_< , stupid gould. And Felger was like :blink: , we hafta get him! But Coombs was all :unsure: , no, no we dont and Felger was :o , we have a duty to them! So Coombs and Felger went :ph43r: to the Gould ship. Coombs was all like :( this isnt an idea! felger goes :rolleyes: yes it is! so they found SG-1 and they were like :huh: weird sounds. the vent opened and felger goes :D "I have Coombs with me." My fave seasons have to be 2, 4, 6 and 8 (who do we appreciate? SG-1!!! wooooo)
but really they are my faveorite seasons, so that's two votes for the original team one for a jonas injected humour team and one for mildly lacking an RDA screen time team.

But my hear lies with the originals lol, but of course if we were talking about the really really original team we'd be going into the movie but that's just taking it too far lol
