Here at the Fanfiction Forums, we're going to have stricter rules than at our sister board 'Stargate Intel'.

Feel free to begin posting right away in Newbie Room, SG1 Talk, SGA Talk and Writer's Block once you have finished reading this.

The bulk of rules regard Fic hosting in the Authors Forum.

1. Feedback.

1.1 - If you would like to post feedback, create a new thread and start it with the name of the Fanfiction you have read.
1.2 - If there is already a thread for the fanfiction you wish to review, please post there instead. This makes it easier for Authors to go through their feedback.

Note - please either write a general message or a well rounded critique in the Feedback Forum. Any hateful messages will be deleted and you risk being banned.

2. Stories

2.1 - Only the Author Named here can post. Any posts for feedback should be in the feedback forum.
2.2 - Don't badger Authors into writing updates in between posts.

3. Getting your own board.

3.1 - You MUST have at least TEN posts in SG1 Talk and/or SGA talk.
3.2 - Apply to Admin (sueKay) via PM. The subject should be Author Forum.
3.3 - Stories must be clearly labelled with the following headers:

Title
Number of Parts
Setting
Category
Age
Pairings
Spoilers
Synopsis
Author Notes

3.4 - NC17 and R are STRICTLY BANNED from this forum. If you write fanfiction in either of these categories, You may start a thread with the URL and warnings for the Content level.

4. Breaking the rules

Any abuse of these rules, spamming or insulting posts may be cause enough for members to be banned.

Rules are the same for art.

1. You must have at least TEN posts
2. Apply for a board via PM to sueKay entitle it 'Artist's Gallery'
3. Wait for confirmation PM, then post away!

Please ensure piccies are no more than 400x500 pixels. If you can provide a thumbnail that would be better!

NO manip of actors' heads onto bodies or anything of a non G nature. Slash is banned.
