Rafael Nadal yeah he is fit, yeah i hope he wins it as well

Vera - June 10, 2006 07:36 AM (GMT)
Today is the Roland Garros finale (women): J. Henin-Hardene vs. Kuznetzova
Tomorrow Roland Garros finale (men): R. Nadal vs R. Federer !!!!

I hope Nadal will defend his last year's RG title and will beat Federer :D

Rania_Elanor - June 11, 2006 01:01 AM (GMT)
Well, i prefer Roger Federer! I think that he is the best! But Nadal is very good too!

Vera - June 11, 2006 08:33 AM (GMT)
Federer is not as young as Nadal. He has more experience and this is his first Roland Garros finlae so he will fight hard to win it. Nadal just has to defend last years title.

GoonerLizzy - June 11, 2006 10:19 AM (GMT)

Queen's and Wimbledon are different tournaments....Queen's is the Stella Artois tournament that starts next week and is often seen as the warm up to wimbledon.
Wimbledon is one of the major tennis tournaments (one of the grand slams) and starts on the 26th June

Vera - June 11, 2006 06:28 PM (GMT)
Wow!I didn't know that! I jus start being a tennis fan. Thanks very much Lizzy!

thats ok

yeah the queens tournament is good as it's easy to get tickets for (i went with my school one year we saw invanisivic and sampres)
Gives you the chance to watch tennis as wimbledon is so imposible to get tickets for

Vera - June 12, 2006 05:33 PM (GMT)
what's the price for the tickets for wimbledon and queens?

Vera - June 12, 2006 06:04 PM (GMT)
realmadrid.com sais that Rafa Nadal has a "white heart", thought his uncle Miguel Angel Nadal played at FC Barcelona he is a big fan of Real Madrid!!!! HEHEHE!!! Now I like him more!!!! :P

GoonerLizzy - June 12, 2006 06:08 PM (GMT)
around £30.00 for each one though wimbledon is about £60.00 in second week...it's roughly the same price as a football match although wimbledon is done by a ballot you can't just buy one....unless you pay 100's of pounds to a unofficial ticket agency....they do have some tickets avalilable on the day but not that many and you normally have to camp put over night to get them!

GoonerLizzy - June 25, 2006 11:33 PM (GMT)
Wimbledon starts tomorrow...strawberries and cream anyone?

I think fedderer will probably win yet again....and homegrown chances don't look very high (no change there then) especially as tiger tim meets federer in the second rounds...oops

Vera - June 26, 2006 08:06 AM (GMT)
I hope Nadal will do good too! I can't weait to see him playing!!! His chances are big too because at Queen's he played very well. If there wasn't his injury when he played against Hewitt. But now he is well. I HOPE HE'LL BE IN THE FINAL.

reyesno1fan - June 26, 2006 06:44 PM (GMT)
well it always rains when Wimbledon on so i'll say coats and umbrellas!!!!!!!!!!! :D ::D

Vera - July 9, 2006 10:41 AM (GMT)
Today is the Wimbledon Final!!! Rafa vs. Federer. It's no prob if Rafa doesn't win, it's his first Wimbledon final and he is still very young, he has time to win enough Wimbledons in the next years. I'm sure he will fight to win it but Federer wants revenge :P
Anyway I'm sure it will be a great match!

Arsenal Fan 1987 - April 10, 2007 01:07 PM (GMT)
I like watching Cricket and Tennis.

Vera - June 28, 2007 11:34 AM (GMT)
Oh yeah!!! Nadal won his 3rd Roland Garros in a row!
