diwash™ - March 31, 2005 02:41 PM (GMT)

Shirley - April 1, 2005 05:30 AM (GMT)
Spain...... but Argentina is going pretty well.........

footiechica - April 1, 2005 04:18 PM (GMT)
I'll be supporting my homesters: THE NETHERLANDS! :music:

Spain's my 2nd team and the 3rd on my list is Romania.

It'd be great if Holland won the cup, even if it's just to aggravate those germans. But that has to do with the hate/love relationship between us and 'the neighbours'. They took our country in world war 2 and we lost some cup-final in the 1970's, so I think one can imagine we don't like them too much. See the relationship between Holland/Germany as the relationship between Canada/America. It's just that we kiss less ass.
Fine.

Another fun thing about this whole thing is that 7 out of 12 available stadiums have dutch grass for the pitch. And thta caused some sort of riots in Germany. So if we, dutchies, would beat Germany (preferably big time) on one of those 'dutch' pitches, it would be just great.

My 2nd choice is Spain, cos I love that country and I love the players, plus they play pretty football (often) and my 3rd choice, Romania..... well, that just because...... It's Romania. And they ahve 3 of my fav players: Chivu, Lobont and Mitea,...... Need more?

Nay - April 1, 2005 05:24 PM (GMT)

Well, if it comes to country business then he won't go far, will he? :D

Don't we just love him? He's amazing. He's on my #1 position fav goalie, though Petr Cech would make a good #1 as well. But I'm way too much a Casillas admirer to let him drop a place haha.

I support France but i think Brazil will win it agian.

footiechica - April 6, 2005 05:30 PM (GMT)
I always wonder why people think Brazil will win. Cos it's brazil? They first need to qualify before taking part of the actual tournament. I hope they don't make it.

HERO - April 7, 2005 07:51 AM (GMT)
yes I agree with footiechica ..

yea that bugs me too, but you can understand, that they support brazil because they are a good team. pretty much the same reason people start supporting real madrid... glory hunting maybe

Rania_Elanor - April 22, 2005 10:39 PM (GMT)
Yeah, that really happens although sometimes, teams which have almost no chances to win,do win.As, for example,Porto fc last year and Greece last summer... :yippy: That's why football is so interesting...because of the surprises... :eat:

Wait, wait, wait! I like Brasilian team because... because! :) I like players who play there. They play "happy" football :) I'm not from people "who start support this team because of they won 3 years ago". If you don't believe, ask my brother! :P

footiechica - April 23, 2005 04:12 PM (GMT)
If there are teams I'm not supporting for certain reasons, it's Brazil ad Portugal. I don't and can't like those teams. I always hope they loose. And I laughed my ass off when Greece won, cos I told my parents I'd support Greece and that they'd win.....how clairvoyant am I muhahahaha

Of course, one can like Brazil just becuase. But I can't.

Dee - April 23, 2005 06:47 PM (GMT)
i`d like 2 support my country (romania) but i`m not that sure that it will go so far...the matches in group A are very tough...with holland, czech republic and others...
then again...i`ll have to `stick` to other country`s team...and these will be spain and germany :first:

seer - April 23, 2005 06:51 PM (GMT)
i dont think germany will win

seer - April 23, 2005 07:49 PM (GMT)

greece?neh...don`t think so...
portugal maybe...
or germany :worship: :worship:

Rania_Elanor - April 24, 2005 01:35 PM (GMT)
Greece really have big chances!Even Carlos Alberto Pareira(Brazils coach) said that Greece are a very good team.

"Greece had a magnificent European Championship in Portugal. I was there, and what I saw was a side with great team spirit and fight. They might have had a slow start but they finished impressively. No question, their team has great potential"
that's what he said on fifaworldcup.com
Well,i am very hopeful about Greece's future in Germany

Dee - April 24, 2005 04:35 PM (GMT)
don`t no...they had loads of luck last summer at the european...
i`m not that sure that they`ll do a great job in 2006...

OMG how can you do that?

Well, since I'm dutch, I'll be astonished by anyone liking Germany. I mean....germany.....holland. That's a not so good combo.

After all those things they did to us.....HOW CAN ANY ONE EXPECT US TO LIKE THEM?!

My ideal final would be germany-holland, in one of those dutch-grass stadiums and then we beat them. But first, we must asskcik the czech republic, which of course will be super hard to do. No sweat about germany. Flipping Kahn.

seer - April 24, 2005 06:09 PM (GMT)
reyes... hottest football player

kahn... DONT MENTION HIS NAME IN THE SAME PLACE AS MY BABES!! oh, wait. im talking 2 myself.

Dee - April 24, 2005 06:12 PM (GMT)
simply adore germany...german football,german beer,german language,german german german  i know,i`m dum

footiechica - April 24, 2005 06:16 PM (GMT)
German sounds like really, really bad dutch. Like you have given somebody an uppercut and he tries t talk afterwards.

Dunno....the dutch don't lke germans and the germans don't like the dutch. thank god. I can't stand anything geman. And I hate the fact that Makaay plays in the bundesliga.
