The captain celebrated winning La Liga yet again in the dressing room

As he celebrated winning the league last night, Raúl said "faith, hard work and humility" had "triumphed." Since those three terms define him, it could be said he and his great leadership also triumphed last night in Pamplona.

Last night's was a collective triumph. It was a reward to hard work and the 'We All Form the Same Team' motto. Raúl is the player who led the squad to its 31st league title, the sixth in his career. "This is great for me because I had never won La Liga twice in a row," he said as he arrived at the Bernabéu last night. His track record is incredible, with six leagues, three Champions Leagues, two Intercontinental Cups, one European Super Cup and three Spanish Super Cups.

Raúl is the team's top-scorer this year with 17 strikes (third in the league's overall ranking) and he is the perfect embodiment of Real Madrid's values. His happiness and joy are perfectly captured in a still taken in the dressing room moments prior to getting on the bus that would take him to Cibeles with the rest of the team. "I already have six league titles, but this one has a special flavour," he added.
