Real Madrid Eye Porto's Anderson, Face Chelsea Resistance
Real Madrid are supposedly turning their attentions towards Porto whiz Anderson, but are set to face stiff competition from Chelsea, among others.
Porto whiz Anderson has been in the news for all the right reasons ever since he was crowned the best player at the U-17 World Cup in 2005, and could now be on the verge of the big jump.
He moved from Gremio to Porto that summer, and has since been impressing one and all with his pace, dribbling skills and passing.
Europe's elite have had their eyes on him for a while now. Barcelona were the first to express interest him, last summer, but since, Chelsea, Milan and Real Madrid have all been linked.
At 19, he is one of the most promising youngsters in the world, and can play down the middle, or on either flank. Real Madrid are now zeroing in on him - suggest reports in Spain - as they look to reinforce ahead of next season, particularly with Beckham and Reyes set to leave.
However, there is competition, mainly from Chelsea, whose chief scout Frank Arnesen has supposedly been watching the Brazilian regularly.
The likes of Manchester United and Milan are said to be looking on with interest as well, and Barcelona also seem to be ready to jump in should Madrid get too close. It is widely believed that this could be his last season with Porto.
