History: Dennis grew up in rural Ireland with his older brother and his parents. Up until he received his Hogwarts letter, Dennis was homeschooled. Because of this, he grew up with his brother as one of his best friends, and he looked up to the older boy a great deal.

His home life was mostly a good one. His father wasn't around much, working long hours, but when he was home he was there for his children, and Dennis's mother was often around providing stability and comfort to her two boys.

Dennis spent a lot of time outdoors as a child, and was often getting into an innocent sort of mischeif. When Colin went to school, and he didn't have the older boy to get into mischeif with him, he calmed down some and learned important study habits. He did a lot of reading while Colin was away, and practically fed off of his brother's weekly letters home. Although his hyperactive personality made a comeback when he started Hogwarts, his studious nature never fully left him, and that, coupled with his brother's extensive tutoring, helped him to excell a great deal his first years at Hogwarts.

When he started Hogwarts, Dennis soon became known as a chipper sort of kid. He assosciated mostly with older students but was the sort to include everyone, and he made friends easily. His grades in school were fairly high, but not to the point of making him an outcast from his peer group.

Personality: Dennis is an excitable young boy with a great deal of family loyalty. He is best friends with his older brother, Colin, and tries to imitate the boy. Because of this, he is sometimes seen as a trouble maker; in his first two years, he snuck out of school on Hogsmede weekends to hang out with Colin, despite being too young. He's a brave and honorable young boy, however, with a good heart. At times he can be seen as acting older than he is, and he is often mocked for this particular characteristic.

Hates: Dennis hates prejudices of any sort, whether they be about muggle borns or people of different races, religions, or sexual orientations...

Loves: Dennis loves reading and he loves experimenting with spells he's not taught in school

Wants: Dennis wants a decent broomstick as well as a pet owl. He also wants to be less clumsy than he is; his first day of school wasn't the only time he fell into the Black Lake...

Wishes: Dennis wishes that, when people saw him, they didn't automatically classify him as Colin Creevey's baby brother. Although he adores Colin, he also wants to be able to build up a name for himself and be respected for the things he does, rather than for the things Colin does.

Fears: Dennis is afraid that after school, he will find out that he is not worth very much. Although he has a lot of friends at Hogwarts, he knows that a lot of them were friends with Colin first. Similarly, he fears that a lot of his successes in school are partly Colin's doing. Dennis had seen, from the corner of his soft brown eyes, his brother slip out the Common Room door. He didn't think that Colin had meant for him to see, particularly. He had a new girlfriend he didn't think Dennis knew anything about, and was often sneaking around these days... Personally, Dennis found the whole thing rather amusing.

Still, after Colin left he found that he couldn't really concentrate on his Potions homework. He needed it done, no doubt, but at the moment he felt nothing but an uncanny urge to stretch his legs and explore the school a bit... Anything other than staying cooped up in the common room, hearing a rather rowdy Quidditch scrimmage outside the window.

Sighing, Dennis threw his potions book rather haphazardly into his green canvas backpack, slinging it over one shoulder. If he was lucky, upon finding someplace quiet to sit he'd once again be able to focus upon his priorities... Doubtful, but still...

He pushed out of the Common Room and headed in the opposite direction of where he'd seen Colin going. It wouldn't do to wander upon his brother whilst he was otherwise engaged... Dennis cringed a bit at the thought. He hurried his footsteps a bit, as though it were possible to actually leave the thought behind. Somehow, it didn't seem likely.

Suddenly, without knowing how it happened, Dennis found his body colliding, hard, against the body of another. He stumbled backward, waving his arms theatrically as he tried to keep his balance. When his equillibrium was finally established, he looked up... and gulped. This would not be good...
