History:Ginny started Hogwarts when she was 11. She was looking through her school books, when a peculiar black diary came out of the stack. This diary was put in her supplies unknowingly by Lucius Malfoy. She started to use the diary. She wrote down things that were secrets of her own that she kept. Without knowing it, Ginny was being used by the diary. She was the reason for the people, such as Colin Creevey and Hermione Granger, being petrified. She kept on opening the Chamber of Secrets and releasing the basilisk. She even attempted to get rid of the diary. She had to get it back from Harry when she saw he had it, so Harry wouldn’t see what she wrote. So, she was under Tom’s control again. One night she was lured down to the Chamber to die, but Harry saved her and destroyed the diary along with the basilisk.
Ginny’s second year wasn’t too eventful. It was for the most part normal, well as normal as Hogwarts can get. One thing that happened was that her crush on Harry fanned out. Another was how Sirius Black was rumored to be in the school. No one knew the truth about his turning on Harry’s parents. So, since they thought he was a murderer, she was a little scared even though she didn’t show it. Then there were the dementors. Since they were around Hogwarts, she was scared of them. Especially after what happened to Harry. Hermione helped comfort Ginny about her fear. Other than that her second year went smoothly.
Ginny’s third year got a little hectic. That year Harry was a Tri Wizard Champion. Ginny started to doubt Harry, only slightly, with the controversy of whether Harry entered or not. For the main part she believed him on the fact he didn’t enter. She got annoyed with her brother, Ron. She thought Ron’s feud/problem with Harry was ridiculous. She tried to control her emotions more around Harry. She also tried to help Harry. She hoped she would get to be Harry’s date to the Yule Ball. Unfortunately the fates had something else in mind. Neville asked her first after asking Hermione, who refused politely. So, she accepted seeing as she could only go to he ball if she went with a fourth year. At the ball she met Michael Corner, a Ravenclaw. She started to date him at the end of the year. When Cedric died, she knew it wasn’t Harry’s fault. Those were the main parts of Ginny’s third year.

Ginny’s fourth year was interesting to put it simply. Ginny didn’t really like Umbridge from the start. One reason for this is because Umbridge wanted and voted for Harry to face all accused charges. On the first night during the small fight/interaction between Seamus and Harry, Ginny laid back. Her outward face was emotionless while inwardly, she wanted to reach out and defend Harry. When Ron came and backed Harry up, she felt a little ashamed of herself. She started to get jealous of Cho Chang. The reason for this was Harry’s interest in Cho. Also she gave Draco Malfoy a nasty bat boogey hex. She joined in the DA, or Dumbledore’s Army. She got Cho, her boyfriend Michael, and some other Ravenclaws to join as well. One time when Hermione and Harry went into Umbridge’s office, she acted as Umbridge telling students to stay away from the corridor leading to Umbridge’s office. That year she was thankful to Harry for saving her father. When she was at the DA gathering one day, they were discovered by Umbridge, a few Slytherins, Mr. Filch, and Draco Malfoy with Cho Chang being held captive. When the D.A. was released from the blood quill detention, Cho Chang was standing outside. Ginny, being angry at her, furiously pushed past her. When Umbridge found Harry, Hermione, and Ron about to go to the Order, Ginny, Neville, and Luna were brought into the room by the Inquisitorial Squad members. Ginny was worried for Harry, when Umbridge threatened to use the Cruciatus Curse on him. When Ron tricked the Squad while Harry, Hermione, and Umbridge were away, Ginny was glad to have escaped and they met up with Harry and Hermione. She insisted on going with them to the Department of Mysteries. She got her ankle broken because of a death eater. But other than that she was fine. During the year she broke up with Michael and got together with Dean Thomas.

During Ginny's fifth year. Not too much happened for her besides the big things. She was shcoked, scared, and surprised when Dumbledore died. She couldn't believe that it had happened. She joined the Gryffindor quidditch team. She didn't like Snape at all. She also broke up with Dean. Later on she ended up getting together with Harry Potter. Eventually they had to break it off, or at least put it on hold.

Personality:
Ginny is a very brave girl. She isn't afraid to stand up to anyone. On her first encounter with Draco Malfoy, she wasn't afraid to stand up to him. She even tells Hermione she disagrees with her a few times. She also stands up to Harry and Ron on a number of occassions. Ginny shows that she is brave on a number of occassions.

Ginny is a very determined girl. She is determined to do something when she has a plan. She is always determined to not be left behind. She is determined when she plays quidditch. She is determined to have fun at parties. She is determined to stand up for her friends and family. She is determined in school. She is determined to keep her friendships. She is determined when it comes to many other things.

Ginny is also a good actress in a way. She has been useful with this talent over her years. She blamed Crookshanks for getting involved with dung bombs when it was actually her. She coughed exactly like Umbridge at the first Hog's Head Meeting. She convinced passing students that the corridor to Umbridge's office had been flooded with Garroting Gas. While she was convincing students, Harry and Hermione were contacting Sirius in Umbridge's office. She has used this talent in other ways too.

Ginny is also a animal lover. She is very fond of cats. She was shocked when Mrs. Norris was petrified. She named Ron's owl Pigwidgeon. She could also lure Crookshanks out of hidding and play with her when she wanted. She got her very own Pygmy Puff. Ginny is a kind and nice animal lover.

Ginny walked into the common room after a day of practice. She saw Hermione doing work on the crimson common room couch. She decided to walk over to her and sit down next to her. "Hey Hermione." Ginny greeted relaxing. "Hi Ginny." Hermione greeted with a smile flipping through the pages of a book. "How are you?" Ginny asked. "Fine. And you?" Hermione asked. "Great." Ginny replied. "So how'd practice go?" Hermione asked. Ginny sighed at this. "Fine. I'm just beat that's all." Ginny answered. "Was it that tough?" Hermione asked warily. "No, it's just that..." Ginny trailed off. "Just what?" Hermione asked looking at Ginny with curiosity in her eyes. "Harry is such a better seeker than I am. I wish he was back on the team." Ginny answered. "Don't think negative Gin. You need to cheer up. You're still a good seeker." Hermione encouragingly said. "I know. I'm trying to be more positive. Anyways thanks for the compliment Hermione." Ginny said with a smile. "You're welcome. I'm here for you." Hermione said with a kind smile.

"Thanks Hermione. What would I do without you?" Ginny asked. "I have no idea. And again, you're welcome." Hermione answered. "Well, I know what you would be without me." Ginny said grinning. "What?" Hermione asked. "Lost in the fashion department." Ginny joked. Hermione gave a small laugh and rolled her eyes. "Well come on, let's get you ready. I hear there's a party in the Ravenclaw Common Room." Ginny said standing up. "You mean you were serious?" Hermione groaned. "Of course." Ginny said with a smile. She grabbed Hermione's hand and dragged her off to the girl's dorms to get ready for the party later on. Once Ginny was done going through the process of getting Hermione ready, she allowed Hermione to look at herself. "Tada!" Ginny exclaimed handing Hermione a mirror. Hermione had a shocked look on her face. "Is that me?" Hermione asked shocked. "Of cousre! I'm so good at this kind of thing." Ginny answered grinning. "That's agreeable." Hermione commented. "Now, let's get you to that party!" Ginny exclaimed taking the mirror away. Hermione got up and exited the room. "Hey!" Ginny exclaimed putting the mirror down. "Wait for me!" Ginny exclaimed running to catch up.
