History: Jade and her sister, Alexandralite (nicknamed Alex), were born to a happy family. Jade was raised to be tolerant of other childern, whether magical or muggle. She was very close with her father, and even learned to surf from him when she was young. Her father passed away when Jade was eight, leaving the whole family devastated. Jade's mother, Jessica, soon moved the whole family to England, a place that had no connections to David.

But Jade still held on tight to her father's memory. She applied his lessons to almost everything she did, which helped her emmensly (sp). She learned a variaty of different languages, simply because she did not want to be ignorant. Through this, she started to gain her own thoughts and feelings that were independant of her mother's. Jessica, in the meantime, had started to dabble into the darker side of magic. She was recruited into the Death Eaters and was happy there, uleashing her cruelty on Muggles and wizards alike. On the outside, she was still Jessica, the tragically beautiful girl who had remarried to a man named Christopher Young.

And soon Jade went off to Hogwarts. She kept hard at her studies, so much so that she hardly made friends. Until her fifth year, when all of a sudden, Jade just got done with her studies earlier and earlier. As her friends exploded, so did her love life. Bade made her feel so loved and wanted, and Jade tried to make his life better. And it was that fifth year, when her mother tried to kill her for changing the minds of Jade's siblings. Jade survived, although her mother didn't. That didn't stop Jade from fully applying herself to fighting arts for the next year.

But Jade's love life took a turn for the worse. Bade relapsed, and he and Jade had a row to end all rows. She not only broke his heart, but also broke the hearts of his new family. And what they had planned to be her new family. Jade was hurt, too, but she decided to just cut away from them. After all, Bade was also a Death Eater, against everything that she believed in. But she still loved him.

Other than that, Jade's sixth year was relatively quiet. Her art career took off, with her pieces up at various art galleries across Great Britian. She becames an art-world celebrity almost overnight, but hardly ever stepped out in public as Jade. She went to great lengths to conceal her private life from the world, and still does.

Now, back at Hogwarts and ready for her NEWTs and a full-timejob, Jade is ready to forget her messy past and just start again.

Jade sat back in her chair and streached to the high ceiling. It felt so wonderful to be back in the Gryffindor Tower, and yet, it was bittersweet. This was her last year at Hogwarts, her last year to make school memories. And so many of those memories had been tainted with loneliness or betrayal or sadness. Jade just wanted to start over.

She sighed and looked around. Dinner wasn't over yet, so not many students were back. Jade had been able to grab a great chair by the fire, and had been sketching Hermione, who was sitting across the room, nose deep in a book. Jade pursed her lips, thinking. She had always thought that she and Hermione would have made great friends, because of their study habits, but Jade had never gotten a chance to talk to the girl. Jade had always had her studies and Bade, and Hermione had been busy with her studies and Harry and Ron. And yet...there was not time like the present to try to be friends, right?

Jade stood and walked over to the table Hermione was leaning on. "Hey, Hermione. What are you reading?"
