History: Born British into an unhappy, unhealthy, but not unloving family, the mother of which was the master and the father of which was her pawn. No siblings. She was neglected, but not in an unhappy sense. She was more than decently clothed, fed, and sheltered, lacking only attention. She adapted however and remained content.

While she was young, the mother carried her husband and daughter to France, fulfilling her own childhood dream but severely limiting their funds.

This adapting was a little more difficult for the little Dominique. Quick in learning most things, she picked up on the language with a hired tutor, however, and the repeated influence of peers who spoke only the native tongue.

Despite her residence in France, Hogwarts insisted on being the child's source of education.

Her wit earned her a place in Ravenclaw.

The entire matter of Lord Voldemort's takeover happened too fast for her to accept. At the moment, she simply goes with new rules and ideals, even though she finds many of them to be disagreeable.

Personality: If there is depth to the girl, it is buried very deep under a very unyielding surface. She is childish and selfish, full of dreams and desires, a neverending taste for debate. Witty and clever, but painfully oblivious at times and easily overwhelmed. Blunt at times. Not needy of companionship, but not opposed to having it. Has few strong beliefs and believes very little in morals.
