Abby sat at the table at the very back corner of the library. There was an open book in front of her, making it apparent to some that she was actually reading it - but ones who knew her knew it was just an act. Sure she needed to get back in the swing of things, but she still had time for that. Her Professors suggested to study now, before it got a bit late. Abby's eyes wandered around the empty room, muttering stuff to herself. She heard the doors open and figured it was just another little Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw coming in to pile more stuff in their perfect little brains - or maybe it wasn't. Either way, i t wouldn't matter to her cause nobody would wanna chat with her.

Jasper was tremendously bored and decided to look around the school more. He hadn't seen the library yet and decided that it was a good place to explore. He wondered what sorts of books they had on vampires to see how much of it was true. When he entered the rooms, thousands of scents hit him at once. But the most powerful was that of human blood. With another inhale he realized that it was Abby's. He went silently up to her from behind.

"Boo," he said playfully. He hadn't actually meant to scare her but she jumped. "Oh! I'm so sorry love. My bad, I didn't mean to frighten you. Anyway... wotcher? What are you doing up here, young mum?" He smiled. He didn't want to offend her, but she didn't look as though she were. But some humans were wonderful at masking emotions.

The sound of a voice behind her cause her to jump a bit, but it wasn't like it scared her. More like surprised her. She reconized the voice as Jasper's - a new friend of hers. "Naw, you didn't frighten me, surprised me a bit, yeah." Abby said with a small smile. She listened to him while her eyes floated down to the pages in the book. She skimmed the words, but didn't really take any note to them. Abby's eyes lifted up to look at Jasper when she heard him call her a young mum. It kind of surprised her to hear him say that - and just the sound of it sort of... scared her. It didn't have that special ring to it like it did with other expected mothers.

"Oh, just reading?" She said with a small laugh. "Actually. I honestly have no idea. I came in here to study - but I dunno what happened since I sat down." Abby shrugged. She did come in for that, but since she was in there, she didn't do much but just stare at the pages. "What brings you in?"
