Title: helping draco
Description: ginny and draco

Lucy Raven Malfoy - July 17, 2007 06:45 PM (GMT)
Lucy gave a little laugh. “Take it easy one him, he's been through a lot.” She said. “Yea, and it's my fault. With the whole mess with Harry and all...” Lucy rolled her eyes. “Is he...is he going to be alright?” She asked about Draco. “I..I can't loose him.” She looked over at Ginny with pleading eyes.

“Ginny, I really am sorry. I didn't mean for any of this to happen.” Luc replied honestly. She was too nervous to really think about anything other than Draco's help right now, but hopefully her and Ginny could work things out and maybe even become friends some day. “Your welcome.” She muttered softly.

Now that they were in the Hospital Wing, Lucy was a little more calmed down, and hoped against all odds that he would pull out of this alright. She watched the nurse work on Draco and hoped he would be alright.

Ginny Weasley - July 18, 2007 01:52 AM (GMT)
Ginny smiled. "Don't worry I won't. He's always been a good friend to me and I know he needs someone to be there for him." She nodded listening to her mention Harry. "I'm sure, last I spoke with him he mentioned you two were getting back together for good. But that was a few days ago. He was hopeful."

Seeing the hurt in Lucys eyes killed Ginny. "He's going to be fine, as long as we get him to the hospital wing soon he'll be fine." She said wanting to comfort the girl. The truth of the matter was much more severe. Inbetween the large amounts of alcohol he'd consumed and the amount of blood he'd lost it was close but she couldn't allow herself to speak the words.

"My only words for you Lucy are please watch out. If you stay with Harry who knows how long he'll be with you. I thought he loved me but I left for a month and came back to find him with you. I'm just afraid he'll do the same to you is all." She said "I know people would tell me to be upset with you but I'm really not." Her voice was soft and caring. Seeing the ward right up ahead Ginny sighed with relief as Madame Pomfrey came out and took Draco into the ward setting him up on a bed. She relayed everything Lucy had told her of the alcohol and blood loss to the woman then walked away to the chairs letting her begin her work.

She tried to not look so nervous, she needed to be strong if nothingelse for the young mother sitting beside her. She could only imagine what she must be going through knowing she had Dracos children.

Lucy Raven Malfoy - July 18, 2007 02:08 AM (GMT)
"Most people would be shocked with him being a Malfoy, but he doesn't have much mean in him for anyone. He truly is amazing." Lucy smiled slightly, her tears drying on her face. "If he gets better we will be together for good. Takes loosing something to know how much you miss it." She had never really thought that that statement was true until now.

The she looked over at Ginny...her friend. "Don't lie to me Ginny. I know it's not just that, I've been the one on the bed before. He's lost a lot of blood, he has to really want to live at this point. Trust me, I would know." Lucy looked at her husband. She wasn't the one who cut him, but she pretty much told him it was alright to cut. After all, she didn't have the best health record.

"I know, thank you. I appreciate the warning, it means a lot." Lucy gave a small smile. "I'm not going to be with Harry, don't worry. He's a jerk, although I can't say too much on what he did." Yes Harry did cheat on Ginny, but then she cheated on Draco so would that make her as bad as Harry? True he was sweet, and great with her two girls, but she was doing to Draco what Harry was doing to Ginny. She felt horrible.

Lucy tried sitting, but she was just too nervous. She needed to know her husband was alright. Her foot was tapping or crossing and uncrossing her legs. That was until she just got up and started pacing. "Oh come on, what's taking so long!" She said, getting worried. "Ginny, I don't know how you're staying so calm. This is driving me insane. I really admire you, you know." She said honestly.

Ginny Weasley - July 26, 2007 08:55 PM (GMT)
Ginny mustered a small smile. "Yes he truly is unique. I was afraid his dad had ruined him but, once he was away from him he's been able to grow, develop into the amazing man he is today." She nodded at Lucy's statement. "I couldn't agree more." She said silently recalling how desperately it had hurt when Harry left her.

Ginny bit her lip thinking for a moment on what to say. "Lucy its- its not good. He's lost so much blood, and his alcohol level, well. . . we're going to need a miracle." Her eyes said what she could not. "He's strong though, we both know this! I have no doubt he'll make it through all of this. Does he know how much you love him? If not once Madame Pomfrey's done would be the time to let him know. It might just be that extra push he needs." She hoped her words were encouraging but she knew at a time like this how hard it all was to hear. She could only imagine what Lucy must be feeling right now. . . the thought of losing her husband. . . It had to be killing her.

Ginny just smiled back at Lucy. "Anything I can do to help! I wouldn't want to see another girl hurt by Harry ever again!"

She rose hearing the young mothers words. "Lucy it'll be alright I promise."

Looking over she watched as the nurse walked over to them slowly a solemn look on her thin ragged face.

"Mrs Malfoy?" She asked and Ginny gestured toward Lucy. "He's been hurt quiet badly! That amount of blood loss combined with the firewhiskey." She shook her head. " Still I think he shall pull through yet with careful care and attention. He must stay here for a week or so. He's asleep now. If you wish to go speak to him I'm sure he'll be able to hear you." With that she gave the girls a nodd and headed towards the back needing to make notes in the mans chart and go about taking care of the rest of the patients.

Lucy Raven Malfoy - August 5, 2007 12:04 AM (GMT)
Lucy nodded. “I didn't know him too well back then, but he has changed for the better. And it's a good thing that he did. How long have the two of you known each other?” She was just curious. Then she saw the look in Ginny's eyes as the other girl agreed with her and sighed, knowing what she must be thinking. “Well, I heard Jasper asked you out. What did you say to him?” Luc hoped that she was getting it right, her mind was just too jumbled at the moment.

All she could do was nod and look over to where the nurse was working on Draco. “Thanks for being honest. Even though the truth isn't always what you want to hear, it's still better than the lie.” Her hands covered her mouth as she tried to compose herself. “He should know! I married him, I had his children! I was with him after he told me he hated me! If he didn't know by now then something has to be wrong with him.” Lucy stopped and started crying again. “If..if it wasn't for me he wouldn't be here, he wouldn't be fighting for his life. He would probably be happy with someone else and...” She walked over to the wall and hit her head lightly on the wall. She couldn't help to feel like an idiot, like the cause for everyone's pain: Draco, Ginny, Midori, Sam, Harry, herself...

“I'm still sorry.” Lucy sighed. See, if it wasn't for her Ginny and Harry would still be both happy, and together. “But thanks.” She attempted to give a small smile.

Then she nodded again. “I hope you're right.” She sighed, picking up her pacing again.

After the nurse was done talking she thanked her and, in a heartbeat, ran over to her husband's bed. “Just look at him.” She said in a whisper, taking his rather pale hand in hers. “Oh, Draco. I am so sorry. All of this is my fault and now you've almost died. Just know that I love you baby. I always have and you know, deep down I know you know, that I will always love you.” Of course, tears were running down her cheeks and she leaned down to kiss his hand. “Please pull out of this. I need you, I need you with me.” She looked over at Ginny, not sure what to say to her almost dead husband or the friend who was the reason that he didn't actually die in his classroom.

Draco Malfoy - August 6, 2007 06:18 PM (GMT)
Draco slumbered peacefully. In his dream he was taking Lucy and the girls to the beach. April and Mercy were sitting in the sand giggling as the sand ran through their chubby hands, their house elf Dora sitting beside the two playing along with them. He and Lucy stood a foot away his arms were wrapped around her, his head resting on hers as they watched their little ones play. "We did good didn't we?" He smiled happily. This was the perfect day, just the five of them noonelse to try and ruin things. "Come on Luc." He said nodding. Taking her hand in his he walked along the beach enjoying the way the sand felt running through his bare toes. "Why haven't we done this before. . . you know just get away. Forget the world." Bending down he placed a kiss on her lips then pulled her in close just enjoying the moment wishing he could stay here forever. As she spoke he frowned in his dream feeling confused. Oh, Draco. I am so sorry. All of this is my fault and now you've almost died. Just know that I love you baby. I always have and you know, deep down I know you know, that I will always love you. Please pull out of this. I need you, I need you with me. What was the matter with her. He thought things were good and yet she was crying as if something terrible had gone wrong, tears streamed down her cheeks.

Slowly he came out of his dream his eyes opening, a smile on his face as he looked up to see Lucy standing in front of him looking just as she had in his dream. "Hey there princess." He eyed Ginny to her side then let his eyes wander as far as he could and frowned. "Where, where am I? Blimey I just had the most wonderful dream. It was you, the girls, our house elf and me off on a trip to the beach." He said while trying to sit up. He groaned loudly as he realized he was too weak and it hurt painfully. Squeezing her hand he searched her eyes trying to remember just what had happened, she looked terrified. "You're scaring me Luc." His other hand reached up to itch his head only to find a bandage there in its stead.

Lucy Raven Malfoy - August 6, 2007 09:10 PM (GMT)
When Draco opened his eyes Lucy was shocked that he had done so so soon, but extremely happy. “Oh, Draco! You're alright! I was so afraid that I had lost you!” She exclaimed before he asked where he was and all. “You...you're in the hospital wing, but you're going to be alright, everything will be ok.” Luc was trying to convince herself more than him.

“Yes, that does sound nice. Maybe when you get better we can go and have some fun.” The girl smiled at her husband. She laid her hand on his cheek and dried her face with the other. He had almost killed himself, and now he was smiling, talking about them on the beach. Draco was just unbelievable sometimes, and Lucy was glad to call him hers.

“Shh, shh. Don't try to sit up, don't exhaust yourself. Just lay there. Is there anything I can get you? Anything I can do for you?” He looked so weak, and she was heartbroken seeing him in so much pain. Then again, she guessed she deserved being hurt, although he didn't deserve to be in all this pain.

However, Draco didn't seem to remember what had happened. “You don't remember, do you?” Lucy asked. “You hurt yourself..and it's all my fault. But none of that matters, ok. You're alive, that's all that I care about right now, and it should be all you care about. Everything will work out, I know they will.” She lightly touched his bandage, hoping not to hurt him.

Ginny Weasley - August 20, 2007 07:27 PM (GMT)
Ginny watched Draco stir. She was shocked but happy for Lucy at the same time. She waited till Draco had finished speaking then gently placed a hand on Lucys shoulder. "Would you like me to leave now? I'll be here only as long as you like."

Standing by Lucys side Ginny smiled at Draco "You scared us all so much Draco. but Your wife has been so brave. You're lucky to have her. She loves you and thats all that matters."

"I'll see you two later. Just call me when you need me, either of you. I'll be with Jasper but don't worry about interrupting me." She smiled once more then removed her hand from Lucys shoulder and headed out quickly knowing the young couple needed time together. She only hoped they'd be able to make things ok and stop having to worry of the others they'd involved. At least she had done all she could for them.

Lucy Raven Malfoy - August 20, 2007 07:48 PM (GMT)
"You don't have to leave Ginny. But feel free to come visit whenever you want. And...thanks again. I wouldn't have been able to save him by myself, it means so much...to both of us." Lucy smiled up at her red haired friend through her drying tears.

"Ok, thanks again." Lucy watched as Ginny walked out and was thankful for the other student, who was the reason her husband was still alive. Then she turned back to her conversation with Draco.

Draco Malfoy - August 21, 2007 07:51 AM (GMT)
Draco frowned hearing Lucys words. "You'll never lose me Luc, how could you ever think such a thing?" He asked. He turned his hand "See still wearing mine." He said grimacing from the pain. "Hospital.. ." He said no more knowing she would fill him in.

"Good its settled then. As soon as I get out of here we're heading off. Just the five of us. I'm sure everyone can miss me for a week or so." He winked at her trying to let her see he was happy to have her there inspite of the pain he was in.

"Just stay with me princess, its all I ask. I don't need anything so long as you're here." He answered honestly.

Draco shook his head cringing even more as he bit his lip to keep from cursing. "No sorry I dont." Draco listened to lucy speak, saw the tears in her eyes which broke his head. "Shh, there there little one." He patted the side of his bed motioning for her to get near him. "My hurting myself could never be your fault. Please don't blame yourself ever for what I do. You're right, I don't care the circumstances surrounding what happened. So long as you're by my side I can get through everything!" He said sitting up quickly to place a kiss on her forehead. A jolt of pain shot through him reminding him he wasn't well but he couldn't help it. To be so close to her was well worth the pain. "Do you think you could call the house elves, in a little while so I can see April and Mercy?" he asked missing his little ones.

"Thank you Ginny!' He said looking over at the young girl. "You're bloody right, I am blessed to have my lucy. I'm glad she has a friend like you! What with all the odd people here at hogwarts, you don't know who to trust anymore." He said knowing she of all people would understand. "Bye." He said as the girl walked out then turned his eyes back to his wife. "Come here little one. You look so sad. Please don't be." He begged hating to see her looking this way.

Lucy Raven Malfoy - August 21, 2007 06:15 PM (GMT)
Lucy nodded, looking down, not able to look him in the eyes. “I know...but...it just wasn't good. Everything was a mess and...” She sighed, not sure of what to say. “Hospital Wing. You passed out and Ginny helped me get you here so that you could be treated for the cutting and all. You gave us all a scare, we were hoping against hope that you would be alright. And you are, and I'm glad.” She ran her fingers lightly through his hair. “I love you Draco.”

“That sounds perfect. However, until the, your stuck in bed. The nurse said they'll need to keep you for about a week, and I don't want you pushing yourself after that. Alright. We'll go when you're good and ready, and I'll just have to keep you company until then.” She smiled at him. He was already happy, but she needed to stay happy since she knew that he didn't like her to be sad either.

The she nodded again. “I promise I'll stay by your side. As long as you want me, I'm here.” She leaned down and kissed him softly.

She looked back up at him. “Do you think you'll ever remember?” Luc kind of hoped that he wouldn't, cause what she said was true, none of it mattered now. He was well and they were together, and both of them would be alright. She sat next to him and took his hand in hers. “But yes, it was my fault. If it weren't for me you would be happy with someone else, and you wouldn't have cut. I promise I won't leave you, ever again.” Then, as he sat up, she smiled, but was mad at him a little. Lucy could tell he was in pain, and also knew that he would never admit it to her. “Now baby, why did you just do that? Here, lay down. And if you want so much to be close, all you have to do is ask. I won't make you be in pain any more than you already are, for me.” She helped him lay back down. “Just tell me when you want to see them, I'm sure the house elves wouldn't mind to bring them by whenever you would like.”

“I'm sorry. I thought you were dead...I don't know what I would do if you had...died.” Her voice broke again at the end of her sentence.

Draco Malfoy - September 29, 2007 06:29 PM (GMT)
"That was kind of her. Goodness knows you couldn't have picked me up alone." Draco smiled softly as he looked at his bride. "I love you too Lucy."

"A week?" He groaned "I cannot stay here a whole week. Bloody hell what would I do here for a week? Can't we just go back to our room." He pouted trying to give her his best pathetic look he could.

"When would I not want you here? I do understand though, you have other things to do. I wouldn't want to keep you bored stuck in a hospital wing the whole time. Its downright depressing if you think about it." He said not wanting to be selfish knowing she had more to do then just cater to him.

Draco shrugged. "I don't rightly know. Doesn't matter either way though. So long as you're here now thats whats truly important right."
He looked into her eyes hurt for a moment that she would even think what she was saying were true. "Theres no truth to that Luc and you know it. You are the only one I'd ever want to be with." He paused for a moment. "I only hope someday you'll believe me on this. I love you, always have always will since the moment I laid eyes on you. You're my girl."

His look turned sheepish even though he was in pain. "Because pain only hurts so much. It's worth it at times." He chuckled softly as she moved to lay near him. "Whenever is fine with me. I miss my little ones but just being with you is wonderful too."

Draco placed an arm around her comfortingly as he tried to get more comfortable in the hospital bed. "Don't worry little one, I seem to be like a cat with nine lives. I still have plenty left." He patted her arm softly turning his head to kiss her on her forehead.

Lucy Raven Malfoy - September 30, 2007 03:27 AM (GMT)
"Yea, I was so happy to see her. I would have been happy to see anyone, I couldn't think straight or anything. So Ginny levitated you here, and I was her eyes. Worked out quite nicely." Lucy gave a small smile, beginning to cheer up a bit now that he was alright and talking and laughing.

"You can only go back to our room if the nurse allows you to. I only want what's best for you. But, I guess I'll just need to keep you company until then." Lucy teased her man.

Then she smirked. "Yes, I have so much other stuff to do." Then her smirked grew to a smile. "Don't worry. My grades are already horrible enough, a few more missed assignments won't matter at the moment, and I'm a wife and a mother. My job is to take care of my children and my husband, and that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to take care of my husband, and make his recovery as easy as I can, as he does for me." She leaned down and kissed him sofly on the lips.

Luc nodded, avoiding his gaze. "You always tell me that." However, right now she didn't really want to argue with him, so let it go. If he had never met her then he'd probably be happy with someone else, and it's not like she'd be there...she'd be dead with her mother.
Without realizing it, she had been looking at the pattern in the sheets thinking that and looked back up at him and tried smiling. "I believe you baby. I have all the reason not to, but I still do. I love you."

She tried to laugh, but only managed a smile. "Yes, it seems you do. And I'm glad, cause I'd be lost without you."
