Ginny walked the old halls one hand dragging slowly along the concrete walls causing a loud screeching sound as her ring rubbed against it. Truth be told she wasn't even sure why she'd come back. Especially after hearing Harry was still here. Yes they were gettig divorced, but it wasn't finalized yet and truth be told she still loved him, but after finding out numerous times he'd cheated on her with Lucy, well one couldn't blame her for filing the papers. Her mum had started in on her wondering why she'd ever want to divorce the great harry potter. She hadn't had the stomach to tell her the truth. And so she'd gone off searching for what she was unsure of. Now six months later she was back, to the very halls she's started at.

Sighing deeply she continuined on her way. Exiting the corridor she noticed a staircase she was unfamiliar with and decided to climb it wondering what she'd encounter. Reaching the top of the steps Ginny pushed the door open entering the large dark room to see what appeared to be the mirror of eraised standing there. Someone was standing infront of it but she couldn't quiet make out who.

Harry was more broken hearted then he'd ever been. Why had Draco had to come back? He and Lucy had been so happy. She was bearing HIS child! After Ginny had left him, he'd never thought anything or anyone could make him happy again. But Lucy did. There was something about her that was special. He didn't want to talk to anyone anymore that night. He didn't want to talk to anyone anymore ever. The world would be better of without Harry Potter. He'd done his service to the world. Now all he was doing was causing people pain. He was taking up the precious oxygen that could be used by someone more useful. He tripped on bloody Mrs.Norris and fell. She hissed at him and stalked away. Even the lowliest of animals hated him. Harry didn't have the will to get up. He lay there sobbing. He picked up his wand for the killing curse but he couldn't say the words properly through his tears. He had to calm down before he killed himself. Hopefully someone would find his body and at least toss it in the lake. But then he would have been just one more inconvenience.

Ginny approached cautiously wondering whom it was. As she got closer she realized it was Harry, her husband and her heart sank. "H.. .Harry?" She asked tears welling up in her eyes.

"What's wrong?" She asked unsure if she truly wanted to know. In all honesty she'd always had a soft spot for him,and thought she hated to admit it a part of her still loved him. But after all he'd done to her. . . Clearing her head she pushed the thoughts aside and moved to stand beside him. "What are you doing?" Taking his wand from him she pushed it aside and moved to sit down beside him."How have you been?"

Harry looked up. He couldn't see who it was because the tears blurred his vision. But he knew the voice. "Ginny...?" He didn't attempt to get up. He moved a bit and put his head in her lap, breathing in her scent. His tears instantly soaked her jeans. "I'm miserable Ginny. So miserable," he sobbed. "When you left... when you left I thought we were through. You left your ring and you wanted nothing to do with me. So - so I got back together with Lucy. We were great, like it was meant to be, and now... now she's pregnant. But then Draco came back. He - he wants her back. She can't decide and I'm just so confused because now you're back! And I realize..." he sat up very slowly, trying to catch his breath. "I still love you too. I just don't know what to do Ginny." He reached for his wand and sliced his entire arm open. "I just want to die."

Ginny stroked his hair as he spoke to her it was so automatic for her as she listened to him.

"You got Lucy pregnant?" She asked trying her best not to sound as upset as she was. "The whole bloody reason I left was because you were cheating on my Harry, with Lucy no less. I figured you two deserved eachother cheating on your spouses."

Ginnys heart was torn, here was Harry trying desperatley to end his own life, professing his love for her, and yet he'd hurt her so desperatley she was unsure what to do. "Harry. . ." She started realizing if she said it she couldn't takeit back. "I . . .I still love you too. But you've hurt me ever so deeply. I mean, I thought I was your everything. I'm your bloody wife, and still you want Lucy." She spat out the name as if it were an insult to speak it. "I can forgive your cheating, that is if you are truly sorry for it. But you must choose between the two of us." She said looking away frmo him. How could you Harry she thought wishing against all wishes this were just a bad joke, or perhaps a dream she was still deepley sleeping on.

Her tears fell but she wiped them aside, this wasn't the time for it. She had to be strong. "If you truly love me then you'll be able to make this choice easily, if not. . . I suppose we'll find out." she finished letting him speak.

"Ginny... I do love you. But... we both know I'm no good for you. And Lucy... she needs me. Draco's no good for her. But I guess....ultimately it's up to her. If she doesn't want me, then fine. Draco will take her and he'll make sure I never see her again. Which would be wonderful for my relationship with you. But... I just don't know. I don't know." Harry sobbed. "I said I'll always love you and I always will. I just don't know that we can be together. We're toxic together. Look at this, all we do is make each other cry." He watched her, her broken heart obvious in her eyes. "Come here." He pulled her close and held her. "I've really screwed you up. I know. And I'm so sorry Ginny. I'm sorry for existing. You're a very brilliant, special girl. You deserve more then what I can give." He kissed the top of her head. "Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some blood to draw." Harry snatched his wand back and sliced his arm deeply several times, dark blood spilling all over the floor.

"Thats funny." ginny said pushing him away from her. "Cause it sure as bloody hell wasn't that way in the beginning. What happened Harry, you've changed from that boy I used to know. I don't like who you've become. If Hermione and Ron saw you like this, I don't even want to say how they'd react. You are right on one thing though. You're definitley not good enough for me. I have been nothing but a loving, honest, faithful wife and I leave to go take care of my sick mum for a month and you immediately think freedom and rush to Lucys arms. Then I come back to find out you're cheating on me and yes I did throw my ring at you. Could you honestly blame me?"

Standing she turned away from him feeling her headache setting on. "Harry I will NEVER be second best, or the substitute person for anyone. I'm better then that. For you to even remotely say that, shows me your true colors. I have never hurt you Harry, but you you broke my heart!"

Walking towards the door she turned to see him cutting himself. "It kills me to see you do this, but I'm not stopping you anymore. Do what you like, be with Lucy, kill yourself. Do whatever the bloody hell gets into that brain of yours. Just know this. Dumbledore would not approve." She said before walking out the door and heading into a different direction.

Finding pig she scratched a note to Lucy letting her know Harry was killing himself and where to go if she wanted to find him. Satisfied she'd done all she could ginny headed off to her room ready to leave Hogwarts for good.

Lucy got Ginny's note and was a bit confused. Either way, she took off running as fast as the child in her stomach would allow her too until she finally reach him. "Harry! What do you think you're doing?!" She practically yelled, taking his wand from him, putting it in her pocket and taking her own wand out to heal him. "What has gotten into you?" She asked, trying not to start crying again seeing what he did to himself. Now she knew how Draco felt when he saw that she had been cutting herself. "Why oh why would you do this Harry?" She asked, pulling him up so he could lay his head in her lap. "Are you alright?" She asked now that his arm was healed.

"No," he sobbed. "Now I know how Draco feels, loosing you. I did love Ginny, back in the day. She's a wonderful girl and all that. But I can't see why everyone's blaming me! She bloody threw her wedding ring at me and threw herself out the window to get away from me! How? How can she say she's never done anything to hurt me! I was so in love with her at the time and it killed me to see her act like that! Everyone's treating ME like the villain here! It's not fair! She ran off! She ditched me - she broke it off with me! And now she's treating ME like a piece of shit! I hate it! I hate my life. Why doesn't anyone bloody understand?" Harry sank to the ground, sobbing hysterically.

“Sh, sh, sh. Harry, just calm down.” She pulled her close to him and played with his hair a little. “No one's blaming you Harry, no one. And I'd say Draco is off a lot worse, you have me Harry. If you don't want me then fine, but I'm yours to take, my marriage is already dead. But no one's blaming you Harry.” She said, trying to soothe him, although she never was too good at it. “It's alright, everything will be alright. What's meant to be will always find it's way. Beside, what is it that you're always telling me? The one who makes you cry isn't worth your tears, but the one who is worth your tears would never make you cry. Now come on, cheer up, it'll be alright.” Kinda funny that about a year ago they were opposite with the cheering up, and he was the one to help her.
