Wandering around was a good way to get in trouble. But because of her circumstances, she was allowed to be out of class when she wasn't supposed to be. But the thing was it was a break for Slytherin anyways. She shuffled her feet along the cold stone, listening to the dragging of herself. Gosh, how was she tired. She missed classes, surprise surprise. Finally deciding she wasn't going nowhere. She stopped. Slid down a wall and found herself sitting on the cold stone floor. Her school robe fell in a black blob under her, making a small blanket under her. She brushed her hair from her face.. sitting there.

Lucy was tired from the twins, who were now with a few house elves, and from being pregnant, so decided to take a nap. However, her old nightmare returned of her mother being killed, except now Draco and Harry were being killed along with her mom and brother.

So, the young mother had woken up screaming and crying. She decided to walk around and became extremely paranoid since she kept hearing noises.

Eventually ending up in the forbidden corridor, and calmed down a little knowing that no one should have been here.

When she heard Abby she jumped and screamed a little. There were a few new cuts on her arms but no one could tell from the school robe.

Lucy saw it was only Abby and calmed back down a little. "Oh, hi Abby." She said, giving a shaky smile.

"nice to see you too." Abby said with sarcasm in her voice. "What you up to?" she asked with a small smirk. Most people were scared out of their wits to come on this corridor. Whatever though. That was just them.

"Just woke up. Tried taking a nap but that didn't really work. What are you up to?" Lucy asked her friend. She loved this place, namely cause it was dark and forbidden, but she was still jumpy from her nightmare. The young mother, however, mostly calmed down so she wouldn't scream at any little thing that happened.

"Eh, just thinking back to all the little things that were good. Sorta missing out on things." she replied with a light shrug. Abby just liked being alone a lot lately, made her think more of life. "How you been since we last talked?" she asked. She knew Lucy was still having some problems.

"A bit paranoid, if you couldn't tell. I got a letter from Harry a little while ago, so that's been good, I guess." Lucy wasn't really sure of anything anymore, like what she wanted to do with her life or where she wanted to go. "What do you mean you've been missing out on things?" She asked her friend.

"What was the letter about?" she asked, even though it wasn't really any of her business. As always though, Abby was curious. She shrugged at Lucy's question. "School, life.." she replied simply. Life was better before all her friends and love left. Rather scary, but quite true.

"Just stuff. Saying he's sorry for being away and he'll try to come back soon. I'm still afraid to tell him...you know...that I'm...pregnant." Lucy paused. Abby and Midori were the only ones who new. "True...being pregnant stinks." She said to her friend.

"Oh, I see." Abby said with a small nod. Abby fiddeled her thumbs, watching them. When Lucy said being pregnant sucked, she looked up at her. "Yeah. Even more when you don't want it." Abby looked back down into her lap.

"I'm sorry about what...HE did to you." Lucy wouldn't say Draco's name, it stil hurt after what Midori had told her about her and him, and stung. The pain was still in her heart, but there wasn't anything she could do except be sorry.

"How many times have I told you not to be sorry? Its alright, I'm over it. It's nothing anymore." She said with a small nod. She hated that Lucy was still sorry for what Draco did. It was months ago. How sorry could Lucy possibly get? Abby heard it a lot, it just made her think of it more. But if she wanted to keep saying she was sorry - whatever, that was her.

"I know but...he hasn't only hurt you. He's hurt so many girls, and probably just because he can. And it's not right. He can't just go around sleeping with girls, and hopefully he'll learn his lesson, even though it won't be with me." In a way, Lucy guessed she was sorry for Abby and herself for falling for Draco, and falling hard on their faces, herself harder than her friend, while Midori fell, not as hard as Lucy, but harder than Abby, but was caught by Draco. So she was sorry for herself and Abby for the pain, and sorry for Midori for being with Draco after them all knowing what he did.

^{Abby sighed. "I know you probably don't want to hear this - but, we all know what he did and we know that it's not right, but would that really change who he is? If thats what he wants, then so be it. He has most likely hurt many girls." She paused for a minute, and shrugged. "I dunno Lucy - he may never learn his lesson. But hopefully he will. It is super wrong. Hopefully a lot of the girls catch up with his background."}

A few tears fell down Lucy's face as she listened to her face. She was, for the most part, over Draco, although she sometimes still cried over him. "I know. Hopefully he will learn his lesson. And if not, I hope he never finds the right girl. I just feel bad for Midori. Even after all he did, she's still moving in with him, getting deeper in the Draco Malfoy mess." The tears started falling faster remembering when Midori told her how Draco had told Midori about being ready to be a father and them moving in and all, it stung but she still had Harry. He was at least coming back, right?

"Lucy, what do you mean they are moving in together? I mean, since when?" she asked, standing up. She wrapped her arms around her friend's back, giving her a hug. "Things will be alright, I'll try to promise that one." she whispered, trying her best to comfort her.

"I don't know. Shortly after I had gotten back I ran into her, or Mercy did, and I followed, and we talked. She told me about stuff happening at his Aunt Bella's house and he was coming...soon...pick her up...ready to be...father..." Her voice cracked at the end as she hugged her friend back. Nothing would even be the same now.

"Pick her up? What do you mean?" she questioned her, still hugging Lucy. Abby could tell Lucy really needed comfort. The past times the two friends encountered, they were a bit rocky. Lucy seemed not to have much in her life. The least Abby could do was to be there for her.

"He's supposed to be getting a house ready. I guess that, when it's done, he's ganna come pick her up and take her to the house. I'm not sure. When Midori was telling me I was crying and all, so my attention wasn't the best." Lucy hated crying, especially with pretty much the only person, besides her girls, she had. It was pathetic but she ignored that part of her life, and focused on the other things, which worked pretty well...minus the scars on her arms, however.

"When did you run into her?" Oh yes, bombard her on questions now. Abby didn't know why she did, they sort of came out. She didn't know if it was bugging Lucy or anything, she hoped it wasn't

"Shortly after we saw each other by the lake. Not too, too long ago." The questions didn't really bother her. The whole in her heart would be there no matter what, not talking about it wouldn't make it better, although it might not throb as much. Oh well, Abby was her best friend, who she told everything too, so why start keeping secrets now?

Abby nodded. "Are alright? Besides the obvious fact - your kids doing fine?" She asked her. Part of a friend's job was to make sure one another was doing somewhat ok. She sighed slightly. She knew, well guessed, that Lucy wasn't the bit ok, but Abby was hoping her thoughts were wrong.

"Hardly alight." She sighed. "But the kids are doing fine. Running around and throwing tantums." Lucy said. "Are you alright. You're kids?" She was worried about Abby and the fact the you still couldn't tell she was pregnant.

Abby smiled lightly. "Isn't that cute," she said, turning her smile into a slight smirk. Running around kids and tantrums wasn't something every parent looked forward to, but sometimes it was just a miracle. "I'm fine. Kid, kids - fine. Stupid cursed family makes things just a twing different."

Lucy rolled her eyes. "Yea, just adorable. But...Draco's back. Did you know?" Abby would probably call her dumb for taking the man back, but she could never resist Draco. "Well...if you need anyone, I'm always here for you. You know that, right?"

Abby looked at Lucy with a dazed look. "Oh, he is? I didn't know.." she said. Draco being back - well, at least Lucy would be happy again. She wasn't about to say anything about it, she didn't want it to lead to anything. She nodded "Yeah I know you'll be there for me."

Lucy nodded. "Yea, so is Harry. Looks like people are finally coming back around here. Just, hopefully, this time they will stay." She sighed. Not sure if she was happy. Everything was calm and alright when it was just a few girls, the boys around there always lead to drama between the girls.

"Ok, just making sure." She gave a small smile.

"Oh, I didn't know he was back too." Abby said with something like a sigh. "Doesn't seem one comes back they all come - or is it just me?" which was true. Draco left, then soon after, so did Harry. And now they both came back at the same time. It seemed like they were buddies or something. Leaving and coming back together. Actually, it sorta made Abby curious, but she wasn't going to put herself through anything else.

Abby looked around, then gave her attention back to Lucy. "And remember that I'm here for you too - whenever."

"Yea...they-they're both back now, and hating each other as always." She tried laughing but she just wasn't in the mood for laughing about anything. Draco told her not to go around Harry, but it broke her heart half way having to tell Harry what had happened, and she was still shaking on whatever was going on between Draco and Midori.

Lucy smiled again. "Thanks, I know."

"They're not dragging you into their mess, are they?" she asked her. All that was needed was more drama around the school. She brushed her bangs out of her eyes and looked away from her friend. "Have I told you what I found out just recently?" she said, looking back up.

"I'm more like the center of their mess now, more likely." She sighed yet again. Starting her third year, or more like when Midori had showed up, everywhere the young mother turned there was drama.

Then she stopped to think. "Hmm...no, you haven't." Lucy said curiously.

"Oh.Thats not good." Abby said with a small nod. "Are they like, fighting over you or something?" she asked, a bit curious of what was going on. Abby was aware to stay out as much as she could, or else she might just drag herself into the mess itself.

Abby raised her eyebrow slight. "Hmm, I though I did." she paused "Well I was in the neighborhood where I used to live before the place got burned down - and I saw a lady walking around the property with some man. The lady looked oddly familiar so I went and asked what was going on that that was my property and stuff like that. So she asked if I was related to the Blacks, and then she said my parents names. So of course I said yeah I was. Turns out shes my moms sister. So I actually have family out there. So I went back to her place and met my 'uncle'. Really nice people. But anyways, when schools up, I'm staying the summer there with family. Sort of catch up on things." she finished with a smile.

"I don't know why but they both seem to really like me. I'm married to Draco, and when he had come back and I told him Harry got me pregnant, he wasn't too happy. But he said that he would raise it as his own, he just didn't want me around Harry. So I agreed since he agreed to the same turns for Midori. But, Harry came back, and everything messed up. He was all over me, and I had to explain, then Draco walked in....I hate boys!" Grr, she said with another sigh.

"Really? You found family?! That's great! I'm so happy for you. From what I know, you deserved the break. I'm glad you have family now! That's wonderful!" Lucy walked over to her friend and hugged her, happy for her.

"Draco understood that he was over you, not you were over him? And I don't think they both like you - its more like love." She said with a simple nod. "Just be careful with the two of them, don't leave them in a room alone - they might accidentally hurt each other." Abby said with a smirk. What she just said was really not something she would say and she didn't know why she said it. Maybe Abby was changing a bit?

Abby's smile got bigger and she hugged her friend back. "Family - isn't that a nice word?" she said more than asked.

"Well, at first he got really mad and started yelling, but I talked to him and told him what happened and he calmed down." She said. "Yeah, love." Lucy rolled her eyes. "True, but it wouldn't be too accidental." She almost laughed.

"Yea...it is." Lucy nodded. And seeing Abby so happy her smile grew a bit.

"Well at least he got the point." she said, nodding again. "Well duh it wouldn't be accidental. Couldn't hence the sarcasm in the remark?" she smirked. "'Course they'll want everyone to think it was an accident - but see, the thing is people know they are enemies."

Abby felt as if he face was gonna be frozen in the smile she had. "I got a lot to catch up on, really. I sort of can't wait for summer for once."

"Yea..he got it until now. Until Midori pulls something and he holds it against me." Lucy shrugged. "Well, I could. I don't know." She laughed a little. "But no, it's no secret that they hate each other, especially now."

"At least you have something to look forward too. See, there's always hope." Lucy was still really happy for her friend!

"Well what does Midori have to pull on you?" she asked with a surge of curiosity. "Now? Only NOW?" she said with a small laugh. "They've hated each other since they pretty much met." She smirked oh so slightly.

"Yeah, I guess you were right all along." she said with a grin.

"I meant more like sleeps with him again or whatever. Wouldn't be the first time she's drugged him or whatever." She shrugged. "Very true, they have always hated each other." She smirked. Of course, now that she has to choose who to be with, the other won't be too happy.

"Once you've hit rock bottom the only place you can go is up. Correct?"

"Oh.. what happened with them moving in together or whatever?" She asked. Wasn't the last thing Lucy had said the last time Abby had seen her? That Midori and Draco were moving in together. Life - just so grad, right? Sure it was confusing, but some parts were just interesting - at times. Right now, this just was one of those 'interesting' parts going on.

"Yeah, thats true... when did you start saying stuff like that? Last time I talked to you before you left you were saying 'I should kill myself' and stuff like that." She said with a semi smirk.

"Apparently he had been drugged and cursed, that he had only said that to get away from them. You don't think he's lying, do you?" She wondered. After all, why else would he be so understanding about her and Harry.

"Oh, I still am. With friends I'm always like 'Oh, there's still hope Don't give up' Then when they say that to me I completely ignore them." Lucy shrugged. "But, I don't know. I guess at least the girls around here are somewhat happier."
